How to install the Niceboy ION ORBIS vibration sensor?

Remove the protective film from the double-sided sticker, place the sensor at the desired location and press firmly. No tools are required. Make sure you have previously installed the Niceboy ION app and the Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge.

What type of battery does the sensor use and how to insert it?

The sensor uses a CR2032 battery. Open the compartment (under the droplet icon), insert the battery respecting polarity, then hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly.

How to add the sensor to the Niceboy ION app?

Two methods: (a) Open the app > My Home > ORBIS Bridge > Zigbee device list > Add a new device. (b) Press '+' > Sensors > Vibration sensor, select the Zigbee gateway, follow the instructions. Make sure the LED is flashing rapidly.

How to reset the sensor?

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Niceboy ION ORBIS Vibration sensor is embedded with a high precision acceleration sensor and it detects the vibration and movement of objects. If vibration occurs, it sends an instant alert notification via Niceboy ION app. It also works with other smart home accessorie to automate your home. The sensor uses Zigbee protocol which consumes low energy, but requires Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge to Connect. No tools are required for installation, simply peel and stick.

QUICK SETUP

1. Before activating the accessory, please make sure you have the Niceboy ION app downloaded and Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge installed.
2. Insert the battery inside the sensor unit (CR2032 type). Then hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light starts flashing rapidly. The reset button is hidden under the water drop icon.
3. There are two methods to add the device

a. Open the Niceboy ION app, tap "Home" and then open Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge. Click on „Zigbee devices list“, then on „Add device“ and then on „Add new devices“. The app will start looking for nearby devices. Once the device is found, it will appear on the screen. Click on the device and add it to your app.

b. Open the Niceboy ION app, and then tap “+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page”. Select “Sensors”, then click on „Vibration sensor“ and choose the Zigbee gateway (Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge). Confirm that you inserted batteries, reseted the device and that the light indicator is blinking rapidly (step 2).

The app will start looking for a new device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.

1. New device will be visible in Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge and also on the page „Home“.
2. You can set the sensitivity in the Niceboy ION app. Open the product, go to „set alarm“, then click to „set sensitivity“.

INSTALLATION

1. Option 1: Place it directly on the surface where you need to monitor.
2. Option 2: Remove the protective film from the sticker, place it on the sensor unit and stick it to the desired position.
3. You can set the sensitivity in the Niceboy ION app. Open the product, go to „set alarm“, then click to „set sensitivity“.
