Accessories Always install one of the shelves on the guides and leave it in that position. To do so, pull from the shelf forward until it can be moved up and down and pulled out. NOTE The graphics in this manual are schematic representations and may not exactly match the device. To make the most out of the appliance in terms of energy eciency, place all the shelves and drawers in their original position, that is, as shown in Figure 1.

- This appliance includes a safety package to protect it during transport. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging and materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the appliance needs to be transported in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly. - Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately. - Keep the device in an upright position for at least 2 hours before connecting it to the mains. This will reduce the possibility of a cooling system malfunction after transport. - Clean the interior surface with warm water, a soft cloth, and a mild bicarbonate solution. Then, rinse it with warm water and use paper towels to remove excess water. - Clean the shelves and drawers. - Place the device on a surface hard enough to stand the weight of the device when it has food. - Before introducing food on the device, turn it on and wait for at least 24 hours to make sure it works properly and so it reaches the optimum temperature. - Place the appliance on a at, stable surface. The device must be installed in a well ventilated room, at a temperature between 16 ºC and 38 ºC. - When installing the device, make sure you keep a free space of: - 40 cm on each side - 15 cm on the rear part - 20 cm on the upper part - The door can be opened to either the left or the right. Choose to which side you wish to open the door and leave enough space to be able to open it completely. - The door of the unit can be completely opened as shown next. W×D≥900 mm×800 mm Fig. 2. Levelling the unit Fig. 1. - To level the unit, set the 2 front feet of the device. - If the unit is not properly levelled, the door and the magnetic sealing will not match. Door opening direction Tools needed: crosshead screwdriver/at-head screwdriver/hexagon spanner. Note - If you wish to reverse the door oscillation, we advise you to contact a qualied technician. You must only try to reverse the door if you think you are qualied to do so. - Make sure the unit is unplugged and empty. - Set the two adjustable feet to the highest position. - To remove the door, if necessary, tilt the unit backwards. Leave the unit on a solid object so it does not slip during the door reversing process. - All the removed parts must be saved for reinstallation of the door. - Do not place the unit on a horizontal position, as this could damage the cooling system. - It is recommended for two people to handle the device during assembly. Fig. 3. Remove the plastic cover of the upper hinge of the door. Fig. 4. - Loosen the three lower transport bolts. - Remove the foot on the opposite side. Fig. 5. Set it aside. Fig. 6. Slide the door of the device up to 15 cm and outside the pin of the upper hinge and remove it from the device. Fig. 7. Remove the two upper transport bolts and place them back on the other side. First, remove the plastic covers from the other side. Fig. 8. - Slide the door of the device again on the upper hinge. Make sure it is in its correct position. - Screw the lower hinge into position on the new side. - Place the plastic cover again, by tting it back into position on the door hinge until it clicks into place. Fig. 9. - Check if the door is horizontally and vertically aligned and if the seals are closed on all sides before the lower hinge is tightened. - Adjust the levelling feet again.

Temperature settings Turn the knob to select the desired temperature. The number shows power, it does not imply a specic temperature. Tips - Cooked sh and meat must always be stored in a shelf over raw sh and meat to prevent bacterial transfer. Store raw sh and meat in a container large enough so it can store the juice and cover it properly. Place the container on the lower shelf. - Leave space around food to allow air to move inside the unit. Make sure all the unit parts are cool. - To avoid smell transfer and dehydration, wrap or cover food separately. It is not necessary to wrap fruits or vegetables. - Allow pre-cooked food to cool down before putting it in the unit. This will help keep the interior temperature of the unit. - To prevent cold air from escaping from the unit, try to open the door as little as possible. We recommend you open the door only if necessary to introduce or remove food. Tips on energy saving - Try not to open the door too often, especially when the climate is moist and hot. ENGLISH ENGLISH - From time to time, check if the device is properly ventilated (suitable air circulation behind the device). - In normal temperature conditions, you must set the knob in a medium position. Before loading the device with fresh food, make sure it is at room temperature. - Layers of ice and frost increase energy consumption, so clean the appliance as soon as the layer is 3-5 mm thick. - The rear wall must always be clean, free from dust or any impurity. - The device must be placed in the coldest area of the room, away from heat sources or heating ducts, and away from direct sunlight. - Allow hot food to cool down to room temperature before storing it in the device. Overloading the appliance causes the compressor to run longer. Food that cools slowly may lose quality or spoil. - Make sure you wrap food properly and dry the containers before placing them inside the device. This reduces the build-up of frost inside the appliance. - The storage compartment of the device should not be covered with aluminium foil, wax paper, or paper towels. Covering the interior interferes with the circulation of cold air, which may make the appliance less ecient. - Organise and label food to reduce the door opening and long searches. Remove as many items as necessary at once and close the door as soon as possible.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Defrosting - Frost can build up in the interior rear surface of the device. If this is the case, unplug the device and allow some time so frost becomes water. You can use the shovel to remove the accumulated frost but take special care not to damage the surface of the device. - Water is channelled through the drain hole in the collection tray above the compressor. - Make sure the drain hole is checked and cleaned regularly so water is released from the storage compartment. - Make sure water does not overow. Cleaning of the interior and the exterior of the unit - Clean the interior of the unit with a diluted bicarbonate solution and then rinse it with warm water using a sponge or cloth. Dry it completely before placing the shelves and the compartment again. - Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior. - The condenser grid on the rear part of the unit and the adjoining components can be cleaned using a soft brush (make sure the device is unplugged from the mains). - Hold the unit by its sides or the base when moving it. You should not hold it by the edges of the upper part under any circumstance. - When the unit is not to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains, empty all food and clean the appliance, leaving the door slightly open to avoid unpleasant odours. - Condensation may appear in the exterior of the unit. This could be caused by a change in the room temperature. Clean any moisture remain. If the problem persists, contact the ocial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
