Cleaning and maintenance

- The table grill is dishwasher safe. However, we recommend to wash the table grill by hand as this will be beneficial for the lifetime of the product. Pay attention! The bamboo housing is not dishwasher safe.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
- Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
- When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
- We advise to place a heat resistant coating between your table and the appliance (this way you don't get burn marks on your table or table cloth).
- Place the device in a well ventilated space.

- To remove the grill plate, press the release button.
You can connect multiple main units to each other. - On the front side of the main unit you can plug in the power cord.
- On the back of side of the main unit you can plug in a connection cord.
- NOTE: the maximum amount of units connected to one another is 4.
To assemble the grill plates follow the steps below:
- To attach the grill plate to the base, put the pins in the mounting clips in an angle of 20^ . (See illustration 1)
- Gently press the grill plate down. Use one hand to steady the plate at the mounting side, use the other to press it down until you hear a click. (See illustration 2)

USE
- Pre-heat your appliance for 10 minutes before using it.
- Grease the grill plate and the pans with a little oil.
- Do not use anything metal, to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. You can use the included wooden spatulas to turn your food.
- When you put your food on the grill, make sure you turn it regularly.
- Small pieces of meat and/or fish cook quicker than big pieces.
- Do not pierce the meat; this makes it lose some of its juices and some of its flavour.
- During cooking, any bits of food left behind should be removed immediately to prevent them from sticking onto the plate.
- Never put frozen food on the grill plate, the heat shock could damage the plate.
