The Obey 6 is a universal compact DMX- 512 controller ideal for LED fixtures. It controls up to 6 fixtures individually with up to 6 channels per fixture. Preset color buttons let you quickly and effortlessly select colors on the fly. Quick Color buttons allow easily add ed layered effects. Playback options include manual RGBAW+UV, automatic mode, Sound- Active mode, chases, color macros, color fade, and color fade delay. Increase control with adjustable audio sensitivity, strobe, and blackout effects. Product Overview

The Obey 6 uses DMX addressing. The board controls lights with specific DMX addresses and the lights must be addressed correctly for the board to control them. More than one light can have the same DMX address, but lights with the same DMX address should be the same type of light. Controller Modes The Obey 6 has the following operating modes . For detailed instructions on how to use these modes, and how each mode interacts with other modes, read the user manual available from www.chauvetlighting.com. Preset Colors The 18 preset color buttons assign a color to each addressed fixture or fixture group. Auto This mode uses built-in programs to change each fixture independently among random colors. Chase

These preset chases offer several color combinations that cycle the LEDs on and off so that the lights appear to move along a string. Color Fade This built-in color fade program creates a serial chase through fixtures 1–6. Color Macro These preset color macros have varying intensities. Sound This feature creates a sound-activated show using the Color Fade, Auto, and Chase modes. Momentary/ Quick Colors An all-red, all-green, all-blue, all-amber, all-white or all-UV operating mode can create a stable wash or spot for varying lighting needs. When in Preset mode, these are single-color buttons. Strobe

This mode produces flashes of light at regular intervals. These intervals are set by moving the strobe speed fader. Blackout Darkens all fixtures. Manual RGBAW +UV Set this mode to use a manually selected custom color combination determined by the positions of the red, green, blue, amber, white, and UV faders.
