You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety in- formation and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified appli- cations. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the docu- mentation with it. This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca- pacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Children should not be al- lowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

when it is completely covered in water. Otherwise the pump could overheat. This may lead to the product being damaged. Ensure that there are no items in the water that could be sucked into the pump. The product may otherwise be damaged. Only use the product with dis- tilled water with out any addi- tives such as fragrances or the like. Additives which are mixed in can ignite. This may result in injury and / or damage.15 GB/IE Avoid the danger of death from electric shock! Before use, ensure the available mains voltage matches the vol- tage required for mains adapter

Dispose of the electrical parts of the product if the cable is damaged or if you find any kind of mechanical problems. The electrical parts of the product and all associated items cannot be replaced. Only carry out work on the product if the mains plug is disconnected from the mains. Never leave the pump running without water. The product is only suited for use with the included mains adapter

(Model No. MAI-1200300). To switch the product off com- pletely, unplug the main plug from the socket. Changing the water / maintenance / cleaning / care DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Pull the mains adaptor

out of the socket before carrying out any work on the product.16 GB/IE Always use distilled water to avoid the build up of lime scale! Note: Water can be evaporated during operat- ing, fill the water up to “-M-” when water level fall to “-m-”. Note: To avoid the build up of algae you should clean regularly change the water and and clean the water container

, other parts at regular intervals - at least once a week. With one pet, we recommend you replace filter

monthly. If there are several pets, the filter

may need to be changed more frequently if they are clogged / soiled. You may check with Optimex service: “https://shop.optimex-services.de” for filter

information. Note: Only use cleaning brush to clean the prod- uct. And you may put the water container

Rebuild the product again (see “Installation“). Before first use Carefully unpack the product and accessories. Place the water container

on an even and level surface near a power socket (230– 240 V∼, 50 Hz). Installation Connect the supply nozzle

(beware the side and direction) (see Fig. B), then install water outlet accessories

to the top of filter slot

optionally (also beware the side and direction). Put the cover

and the attached pump into the water container and lead the power lead

through the notch on the back of the water container

up to the marking “-M-” with distilled water. Your product is now ready for use. Note: Distilled water should not be drunk in high volumes otherwise it can be life-threat- ening. Switching the product on / off Plug the mains adaptor

into the mains. The product starts automatically. Unplug the mains adaptor

from the mains to turn off the product. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
