Yes, the stainless steel saucepan can withstand a maximum temperature of 250 °C. The glass lid can withstand up to 180 °C. Remove the lid if exceeding this temperature.

WARNING! DANGER OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!

  • Do not use the lid if the handle is loose.
  • If the handle of the glass lid is loose, you can fasten it again by tightening the screws.
Do not use the pot if the handles are loose.
Pots must never be left unattended. Fat and food can very quickly overheat and ignite. Never try to extinguish a fat or food fire with water. Cover the flames with a pot lid or a tested fire blanket.
CAUTION! Never heat up the pot if it is empty. The pot will overheat and get damaged.
Never heat the pot up on the highest energy level if it is filled with fat. If it overheats switch the hotplate off immediately. Never lift the pot directly off the hotplate, but first allow it to stand on the cooling plate.
Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire.
The pot is suitable for use on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and induction hobs.
