• Adult assembly required. Ensure that the product and all components are not given to children until after assembly.

• Warning. None of the packaging materials, attachments or the ‘SUPER DRY’ bag (drying agent) are part of the toy itself, and must always be removed for safety reasons before the product is given to children to play with.

• Warning. The drying agent contains calcium chloride (CAS 10043-52-4). Keep out of reach of children.

• The LEDs are not replaceable.

• This toy contains non-replaceable batteries.15

• This product includes small magnets. Swallow- ing a magnet can lead to serious injury! If a magnet is swallowed see a doctor immedi- ately. This product is manufactured with great care but if damage does happen to occur, take it away from children without delay and dispose of it.

• Check the product for damage and wear be- fore each use. The product may only be used in good order and condition!

• Only use the battery type: CR1632, LR03. Battery warning notices!

• Remove the batteries when they are flat, or if the product is not in use for an extended period.

• Do not use different types or brands of batteries together, or new and used batteries, or ones with different capacities, as they can leak and cause damage.

• Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correct when insert- ing the batteries.

• Replace all batteries at the same time and dispose of the old batteries as prescribed.

• Warning! Batteries must not be charged or re- activated by other means, taken apart, thrown into fire or short-circuited.

• Always keep batteries out of reach of children.

• Do not use rechargeable batteries!

• Cleaning and maintenance must not be car- ried out by children without supervision.

• Clean the battery and device contacts as needed and before inserting.

• Do not expose the batteries to extreme condi- tions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Other- wise there is an increased risk of leakage.

• Warning. This product contains a coin battery (button cell with lithium). If swallowed, a coin battery can cause internal chemical burn injuries.

• Warning. Dispose of used batteries imme- diately. Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. Seek medical help immediately if you suspect that batteries have been swallowed or ingested. Danger!

• Handle damaged or leaking batteries with ex- treme caution and dispose of them properly as soon as possible. Wear gloves when doing so.

• If you come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets in your eye, rinse it with water and seek medical attention immediately!

• The connection terminals must not be short-cir- cuited. Warnings for integrated battery!

• Never leave batteries charging unattended.

• Never charge the rechargeable battery imme- diately after use. Always allow the battery to cool down first (at least 5–10 minutes).

• Only use the USB cable provided to charge the rechargeable battery.

• Since the rechargeable battery heats up dur- ing the charging process, it is vital to ensure there is adequate ventilation. Never cover the product.

• If electrolyte solution leaks out of the recharge- able battery or the product, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Rinse affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor. The electrolyte solution can cause irritation.

• Disconnect the product from the USB cable once it is fully charged.

• The product may only be charged in dry, enclosed indoor areas. Never charge or store the product near large heat sources or open fires, as this could result in the rechargeable battery exploding.

• If the rechargeable battery burns while charg- ing, do not extinguish it with water; use dry sand (for example).

• Do not leave the product unattended during the charging process and watch out for possi- ble overheating.

• Only charge the rechargeable battery at an ambient temperature of 5–35°C.

• The charging contacts on the device must not be connected by metal objects.

• If the product has been subjected to a severe impact, store it in a very safe place (e.g. in a metal box) for the next 30 minutes.

• Never try to manipulate, modify or repair the rechargeable battery or the product. GB/IE16 GB/IE Assembly When assembling the product, pay attention to the individual steps as shown in Fig. B–F. Bridge sections Assemble the bridge sections as shown in Fig. K. The height of the bridge can be adjusted. Harbour plate Connect the harbour plates (21) and (22) using two connectors (36). Then press the bollards (23) into the holes of the assembled harbour plate. Charging the battery (Fig. I)

1. Connect the USB connector (17a) of the USB

cable (17) with the rechargeable battery connector (16d) of the train (16).

2. Insert the USB plug (17b) of the USB cable

into a USB port of a switched-on laptop/note- book or of a charging station with a USB port. Inserting/replacing batteries (Fig. G and H) WARNING! Comply with the following instructions in order to prevent mechani- cal and electrical damage. For inserting and replacing the batteries (11), (15) proceed as shown in Fig. G and H. Note: You will need a suitable screwdriver (not contained in delivery). Note: Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity of the batteries and their correct installation. The batteries must be located entirely inside the battery compartment. Assembly variants Assembly variants can be found in the enclosed overview. Note: assembly variants with multiple, con- secutive curved parts can potentially derail the vehicles! Clean the tracks with a damp cloth before using them for the first time! Use Lighthouse Press the button (13a) to turn the light on and off (Fig. H). Note: if the button is not pressed, the light turns off automatically after approx. 30 seconds. Ship

• Press the button (10a) to turn the light and sound on and off (Fig. E). Note: the light and sound turn off automatically after approx. 10 seconds. Note: dock the ship only outside the container terminal. Container terminal Containers can be transferred between ship, rail and lorry at the container terminal.

• Use the winch on the crane to move the con- tainers up or down.

• Slide the container bridge and crane to the desired position. Vehicle (Fig. J)

• Press the button (16a) to drive the vehicle forwards.

• Press the button (16b) to stop the vehicle.

• Press the button (16c) to reverse the vehicle. Warning! The vehicle is not designed for reversing on bridges or inclines. Note: the vehicle is off when the control switch (16d) is in the ‘OFF’ position. Colour recognition technology Attach the colour plates (44) to the rails to use the colour recognition technology (Fig. L). Note: the colour plates can only be placed on the straight rails. If the vehicle (16) drives over a colour plate, it is controlled according to the colour: Colour Reaction Lilac Vehicle stops briefly Blue Sound is made Red Light state changes (on/off) Green Change of direction17 Storage, cleaning When not in use, always store the product dry, clean, without batteries and at room temperature. Only clean the product with a damp cloth and wipe dry afterwards.

Warning: the tracks should be cleaned before

being used for the first time! IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents. Disposal The accompanying symbol indicates that this device complies with Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive indicates that you may not dispose of this device along with basic household waste at the end of its useful life and instead must hand it in to specifically designated collection sites, valuable substance collection stations, or waste disposal facilities. Look after the environment and dispose of waste properly. Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as fol- lows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collec- tion site. For further information about disposal of the product no longer needed, contact your local council. Dispose of the product and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Store the packaging materials (foil bags, for example) out of the reach of children. Note the label on the packaging materials when separating waste, as these are labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and cardboard / 80–98: composite materials. The product and the packaging materials can be recycled, dispose of them separately for better treatment of waste. The Triman logo only applies to France. Notes on the guarantee and service handling The product was produced with great care and under continuous quality control. DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year guarantee on this product from the date of purchase (guarantee period) in accordance with the following provisions. The guarantee is only valid for material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear that are thus considered wear parts (e.g. batteries) or fragile parts such as switches, rechargeable batteries, or parts made of glass. Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed, unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances. Claims under the guarantee can only be made within the guarantee period by presenting the original sales receipt. Please therefore keep the original sales receipt. The guarantee period is not extended by any repairs carried out under the guarantee, under statutory guarantees, or as a gesture of goodwill. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
