  • Never leave batteries charging unattended.
  • Never charge the rechargeable battery imme- diately after use. Always allow the battery to cool down first (at least 5–10 minutes).
  • Only use the USB cable provided to charge the rechargeable battery.
  • Since the rechargeable battery heats up dur- ing the charging process, it is vital to ensure there is adequate ventilation. Never cover the product.
  • If electrolyte solution leaks out of the recharge- able battery or the product, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Rinse affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor. The electrolyte solution can cause irritation.
  • Disconnect the product from the USB cable once it is fully charged.
  • The product may only be charged in dry, enclosed indoor areas. Never charge or store the product near large heat sources or open fires, as this could result in the rechargeable battery exploding.
  • If the rechargeable battery burns while charg- ing, do not extinguish it with water; use dry sand (for example).
  • Do not leave the product unattended during the charging process and watch out for possi- ble overheating.
  • Only charge the rechargeable battery at an ambient temperature of 5–35°C.
  • The charging contacts on the device must not be connected by metal objects.
  • If the product has been subjected to a severe impact, store it in a very safe place (e.g. in a metal box) for the next 30 minutes.
  • Never try to manipulate, modify or repair the rechargeable battery or the product. GB/IE16 GB/IE Assembly When assembling the product, pay attention to the individual steps as shown in Fig. B–F. Bridge sections Assemble the bridge sections as shown in Fig. K. The height of the bridge can be adjusted. Harbour plate Connect the harbour plates (21) and (22) using two connectors (36). Then press the bollards (23) into the holes of the assembled harbour plate. Charging the battery (Fig. I)

1. Connect the USB connector (17a) of the USB

cable (17) with the rechargeable battery connector (16d) of the train (16).

2. Insert the USB plug (17b) of the USB cable

into a USB port of a switched-on laptop/note- book or of a charging station with a USB port. Inserting/replacing batteries (Fig. G and H) WARNING! Comply with the following instructions in order to prevent mechani- cal and electrical damage. For inserting and replacing the batteries (11), (15) proceed as shown in Fig. G and H. Note: You will need a suitable screwdriver (not contained in delivery). Note: Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity of the batteries and their correct installation. Use Lighthouse Press the button (13a) to turn the light on and off (Fig. H). Note: if the button is not pressed, the light turns off automatically after approx. 30 seconds. Ship

  • Press the button (10a) to turn the light and sound on and off (Fig. E). Note: the light and sound turn off automatically after approx. 10 seconds. Note: dock the ship only outside the container terminal. Container terminal Containers can be transferred between ship, rail and lorry at the container terminal.
  • Use the winch on the crane to move the con- tainers up or down.
  • Slide the container bridge and crane to the desired position. Vehicle (Fig. J)
  • Press the button (16a) to drive the vehicle forwards.
  • Press the button (16b) to stop the vehicle.
  • Press the button (16c) to reverse the vehicle. Warning! The vehicle is not designed for reversing on bridges or inclines. Note: the vehicle is off when the control switch (16d) is in the ‘OFF’ position. Colour recognition technology Attach the colour plates (44) to the rails to use the colour recognition technology (Fig. L). Note: the colour plates can only be placed on the straight rails. Only clean the product with a damp cloth and wipe dry afterwards.

Store the packaging materials (foil bags, for example) out of the reach of children. Note the label on the packaging materials when separating waste, as these are labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and cardboard / 80–98: composite materials. The product and the packaging materials can be recycled, dispose of them separately for better treatment of waste. The Triman logo only applies to France.
