RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

Before using the hair clipper the hair must be clean and dry. We recommend cutting small quantities of hair at a time, adjusting the cutting length gradually until finding the one you want. The blades risk getting stuck if too fast movements are made or if a lot of hair is cut at the same time. It can be used without attachment comb to trim beard, neck hair and sideburns.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE:

Before charging the appliance for the first time we recommend fully discharging the battery and then fully charging it.

1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off.

2. Plug the adapter into the USB port of your PC, Notebook or Tablet and then connect it to the device. A standard USB adapter (5V =1000 mA) may be used. The charging LED will light up and remain red for the whole charging process.

3. The first charge takes 12 hours. Subsequent charges take about 8 hours. When fully charged, the battery will last about 45 minutes.

4. Once it is fully charged, disconnect the adapter from the USB port of your PC, Notebook or Tablet or from the power outlet.

5. Thanks to its cord-cordless function the appliance may be used connected directly to the USB port or power outlet if the battery charge is depleted.

The duration of the battery varies based on usage frequency and times. To increase the lifespan of the batteries, this procedure should be carried out at least twice a year, discharging the battery completely and recharging it for the maximum time. If the appliance is not used often, remember in any case to carry out a charging cycle every so often during the year to keep it working efficiently. On the contrary, when the charging is finished, do not keep the appliance connected to the mains to prevent the battery from overcharging and damaging the appliance.

WARNING: Do not attempt to replace the internal battery of the hair clipper. This can lead to the risk of fire or electric shock. Tampering invalidates the warranty on the product.

USEINSTRUCTIONS:

• Insert the supplied accessory. This operation should always be done with the hair clipper turned off.
• Turn on the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.
• Turn off the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.

INSERTION OF THE COMB:

The supplied comb has two bars, each with a guiding groove in the central part (Fig. 1). The hair clipper has two guideways on the two sides, on the upper part of the body of the product (Fig. 2). To insert the comb in the hair clipper, slide the bars of the comb on the guideway found on the body of the product until you hear a slight click: insertion will be now be completed. To remove the comb, just extract it from its groove, applying force to the hair clipper blade.

CUTTING LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:

The GC542 Sport hair clipper offers the possibility of making finishing touches of 0.8mm (if used without any guide comb attached) and performing classic hair cuts with the following lengths: 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16/17/18/19/20/21/22/23/24 mm. To change the cutting length, once the comb has been inserted on the hair clipper, turn the adjusting wheel found on the body of the product to the left until achieving the desired height (Fig. 3). The cutting length can be displayed in the window above the wheel (Fig.4). To decrease the cutting length, turn the wheel in the opposite direction, i.e. to the right.

THINNING FUNCTION:

The GC542 Sport hair clipper has a hair trimming function to reduce hair volume. To use this function move the switch found on the body of the product to the left, until the comb which protrudes from the inside of the product is completely raised (Fig. 5). After using the thinning function, move the switch towards the opposite side, i.e. to the right.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

A clean and properly lubricated hair clipper considerably improves its capacity and cutting precision.

DO NOT CLEAN ANY PART OF THE APPLIANCE UNDER RUNNING WATER.

CLEANING THE HEAD:

Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the appliance is properly turned off and disconnected from the power outlet.

Remove the accessory if it is inserted.

Remove the head by pressing lightly in the opposite direction to the snap in (Fig.6).

Using the special brush supplied, remove any hair residues inside the appliance body, between the blades and the back of the head. Replace the head in the initial position, snapping it in until you hear the click.

NEVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD INTO ITS INTEGRAL PARTS OR YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE PRODUCT.

HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE:

Before the first use we recommend lubricating the blade with a drop of the oil found in the package or with any other lubricating oil (make sure that it is not too viscous).

Turn the hair clipper upside down so that oil does not drip on the appliance. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil

(Fig.7).

Turn the appliance on for a few seconds so that the oil is distributed evenly along the entire blade. Then, using a dry cloth, eliminate any excess oil residues.

We recommend repeating this procedure every two months or more often, depending on product use.

BLADE DURATION:

The duration of the blade varies based on usage frequency and times. Although correct maintenance is performed, if the cutting efficiency is compromised, contact the manufacturer to have the entire head replaced.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE:

Before charging the beard trimmer for the first time we recommend fully discharging the battery and then fully charging it.

1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off.

2. Plug the adapter into the USB port of your PC, Notebook or Tablet and then connect it to the device. A standard USB adapter (5V 1000 mA) may be used. The charging LED will light up and remain red for the whole charging process.

3. The first charge takes 16 hours. Subsequent charges take about 8 hours. When fully charged, the battery will last about 45 minutes.

4. Once it is fully charged, disconnect the adapter from the USB port of your PC, Notebook or Tablet or from the power outlet.

5. If the beard trimmer charge runs out during use, since it a slow-charging cordless product, it must be charged for around 2 hours before using it again.

The duration of the battery varies based on usage frequency and times. To increase the lifespan of the batteries, this procedure should be carried out at least twice every 12 months, discharging the battery completely and recharging it for the maximum time. If the appliance is not used often, remember in any case to carry out a charging cycle every so often during the year to keep it working efficiently. On the contrary, when the charging is finished, do not keep the appliance connected to the mains to prevent the battery from overcharging and damaging the appliance.

INSERTION OF THE COMB:

The supplied comb has two lateral seats for an easier snapping on the base. To insert it on the beard trimmer, lay the blade on the comb and make it slide on the comb until you hear a slight click: the comb will thus be properly inserted. To remove the comb just extract it making the blade slide outwards.

REMOVAL OF THE HEAD:

To remove the head, grasp the beard trimmer by the front side, place your thumb over the head and push backwards until the head is completely removed.

INSERTION OF THE HEAD:

There is a black interlocking seat inside the upper part of the beard trimmer; on the head there is a black lever. To insert the head, place the black lever on the interlocking seat; push toward the front of the appliance until you hear a slight click; the Insertion procedure is now complete.

CUTTING LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:

The GT527 Sport beard trimmer offers the possibility of making finishing touches of 0.4mm (if used without any guide comb attached) and trimming beard with the following lengths: 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7mm .

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

A clean and properly lubricated beard trimmer considerably improves its capacity and cutting precision.

CLEANING THE HEAD

Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the appliance is properly turned off and disconnected from the power outlet. Remove the accessory if it is inserted. Using the special brush supplied, remove any hair residues between the blades and the back of the blade head.

NEVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD OF THE BLADE OR YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE PRODUCT.

HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE:

Before the first use we recommend lubricating the blade with a drop of the oil found in the package or with any other lubricating oil (make sure that it is not too viscous).

Turn the beard trimmer upside down (Fig. 1) so that oil does not drip on the appliance. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil. Turn the appliance on for a few seconds so that the oil is distributed evenly along the entire blade. Then, using a dry cloth, eliminate any excess oil residues.

We recommend repeating this procedure every two months or more often, depending on product use.

BLADE DURATION:
