2. Range of application and all the benefits of your new instru-
- 13 alarm sounds (melodies and nature sounds)
- Mirrored colour display with 4 brightness levels
- Display turns off automatically after 6 seconds (Energy saving fea- ture)
- Integrated battery for charging via micro-USB cable (included)
- This product is exclusively intended for the range of application described above. It should only be used as described within these instructions.
Caution! Risk of electrocution!
- Connect the device via the USB cable only to a suitable USB power source such as a computer, USB power adapter (DC 5V, min. 500 mA).
- The product must not come into contact with water or moisture.
- Do not charge the product if the housing is damaged.
- Charge the device out of reach of persons (including children) who cannot fully appreciate the potential risks of handling electrical equipment.
- Disconnect the device from the charging power source immediate- ly if any fault occurs. Caution! Risk of injury!
- Batteries containing lithium carry a risk of fire or explosion due to heat or mechanical damage!
- Protect it from high temperatures. Do not throw into fire, short- circuit or take apart. If the device becomes hot while charging or the battery is no longer charged, this is a sign of a defect. Discon- nect the device from the charging power source immediately.
- The battery cannot and must not be replaced or removed by you. There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. If necessary, a qualified person can obtain instructions on how to dismantle the permanently installed battery from info@tfa-dost- mann.de, should this be necessary for the purpose of repairing or recycling the product. Important information on product safety!
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks. Avoid direct sunshine.
- The instrument is not unbreakable. In case of falling down parts can break.
- The red charging symbol appears when the battery needs to be charged.
- Please charge the device immediately to preserve battery life.
- Plug the supplied USB-cable into the designated port on the device and connect the unit to a suitable USB power source.
- Do not apply excessive force when connecting a USB cable. The USB plug fits only one way into the USB port.
- To fully charge, leave the device connected for approximately 6 hours.
- The red charging symbol indicates now that the built-in recharge- able battery is charging. As soon as the charging symbol turns off, the built-in rechargeable battery is fully charged.
- Disconnect the device from the charging power source.
- Recharge the battery every six months, even if the product is not in use.
- Before the first use, please charge it fully.
- Slide the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON.
- The display appears for 6 seconds.

- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT sensor button to adjust the brightness in 4 levels.
- To save energy, the display switches off automatically after 6 se- conds if the device is not connected to the mains. The display remains permanently active when you leave the unit connected to a USB power source.
- To temporarily activate the display, touch the alarm clock slightly or make a loud sound (such as clapping your hands).
- Press and hold the TIME SET button for three seconds to enter the setting mode.
- The hour digit will be flashing. Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours. Press and hold the buttons for fast mode.
- Confirm the setting with the TIME SET button and set minutes in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the TIME SET button.
- The display shows the current time.
- The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 9 seconds.
8.2 12/24-hour display setting

- Press the UP button in normal mode to change between °C (Cel- sius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature units.
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button in normal mode for three seconds to enter the alarm setting mode.
- 6:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time 1 appears on the dis- play.
- The hour digit and the alarm symbol 1 start flashing.
- Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours. Press and hold the buttons for fast mode.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- Set the minutes in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- “1” flashes on the display and the first alarm melody sounds. 13 different alarm sounds are available (melodies and nature sounds). Press the UP or DOWN button to select the alarm sound. Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- 6:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time 2 appears on the dis- play. The hour digit and the alarm symbol 2 start flashing.
- Alarm 2 can be adjusted in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SETbutton.
- The display shows the current time.
- Note: You can exit the alarm setting mode at any time. Wait 9 se- conds, the device will automatically use the settings you have made so far. Digital alarm clock with various alarm sounds
9.2 Activate and deactivate the alarm
- To activate or deactivate alarm 1 and / or 2, slide the respective ALARM ON/OFF switch to ON or OFF.
- When the alarm is activated, the respective alarm symbol will appear on the display.
- When the set alarm time is reached, the alarm clock will wake you up with the selected setting. The display is activated. The corre- sponding alarm symbol flashes.
- Press any button (except SNOOZE/LIGHT) and the alarm will stop.
- The alarm sound automatically turns off after 2 minutes if not stopped manually.
- When the alarm rings, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT sensor button briefly and the snooze function is activated.
- Once the snooze function is activated, the alarm symbol will be flashing on the display.
- The alarm will be interrupted for 5 minutes.
- Press the ALARM SET button in normal mode. An alarm sound (melody or nature sound) sounds for 5 minutes
- Press the DOWN button in normal mode. An alarm sound sounds. Press the DOWN button to adjust the respective volume (3 levels).
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET, TIME SET or UP button or wait 5 seconds.
10. Care and maintenance
- Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
- Turn off the device if you do not use it for a long period of time. Slide the POWER ON/OFF switch to OFF. The settings are saved.
- Store the device in a dry place.
