CAUTION! Risk of electrocution!
- Connect the device via the USB cable only to a suitable USB power source such as a computer, USB charger or USB hub with charging output (5V DC).
The product must not come into contact with water or moisture. - Do not charge the product if the housing is damaged.
Charge the device out of reach of persons (including children) who cannot fully appreciate the potential risks of handling electrical equipment. - Disconnect the device from the charging power source immediately if any fault occurs.

WARNING! Risk of injury!
- Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years old).
- Batteries containing lithium carry a risk of fire or explosion due to heat or mechanical damage! Protect it from high temperatures. Do not throw into fire, short-circuit or take apart. If the device becomes hot while charging or the battery is no longer charged, this is a sign of a defect. Disconnect the device from the charging power source immediately.
The battery cannot and must not be replaced or removed by you. There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. If necessary, a qualified person can obtain instructions on how to dismantle the permanently installed battery from info@ta-dostmann.de, should this be necessary for the purpose of repairing or recycling the product.

Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents!

Getting started
- Remove the protective film from the display.
- Insert the supplied USB cable with the micro-USB plug into the provided opening on the device (Fig.2-C). Connect the device via the USB cable only to a suitable USB power source.
The device switches on.
Charging
Before the first use, please charge it fully.
To fully charge, leave the device connected for approximately 3 - 4 hours.
The charging status symbol flashes during charging. The charging status of the device is shown on a symbol with three bars (Fig.1-D).
- When the device is fully charged, the charge icon will appear filled. Disconnect the device from the charging power source.
- Do not leave the fully-charged device connected to the charging power source as this may shorten battery life.
The lowest bar flashes when the battery needs to be recharged.
Please charge the device immediately to preserve battery life.
- Recharge the battery every six months, even if the product is not in use.
- Switch off the device (press and hold the + and - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) at the same time) if you are not going to use it for a longer period of time.
Operation
- When entering the setting mode and each successful double-click is followed by a beep.
Press and hold the ^+ or - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) in the respective setting mode for quick setting.
The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.
Time setting
Press and hold the TIME SET button (Fig.1-N) in normal mode to enter the setting mode.
The time symbol appears (Fig.1-0).
The hour digit flashes on the display. Press the ^+ or - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K), to adjust the hours.
Confirm with the TIME SET button
Set the minutes in the same way. Confirm with the TIME SET button.
12- or 24-hour system
- Press the TIME SET button (Fig.1-N) twice in quick succession in normal mode to set the 12 HR or 24 HR system. In the 12 Hr system AM or PM (Fig.1-M) (after 12 o'clock) appears on the display.
Alarm clock function
Press the ALARM 1 (Fig.1-H) or ALARM 2 (Fig.1-G) button in normal mode. The last adjusted alarm time will be displayed for a short moment. The corresponding alarm symbol flashes.
Alarm time setting
Press and hold the ALARM (Fig.1-H) button in normal mode to enter the alarm setting mode.
The hour digit and the alarm symbol 1 (Fig.1-J) start blinking.
Press the + or - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) to set the hours.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM 1 button.
Set the minutes in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM 1 button.
- ALARM 2^品 can be adjusted in the same way.
Activate and deactivate the alarm
- Press the ALARM 1 (Fig.1-H) or ALARM 2 (Fig.1-G) button twice in quick succession in normal mode.
The alarm is activated. The corresponding alarm symbol |^|_D (Fig.1-J| Fig.1-F) appears permanently on the display.
Press again the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to deactivate the alarm. The alarm symbol disappears. - When the alarm is activated, the alarm starts to ring when the set alarm time is reached. The backlight turns on.
- Press any button or flip over the alarm clock to stop the alarm.
If the alarm is not stopped manually, the ascending alarm tone automatically turns off after 3 minutes and it will be reactivated at the same set time on the following day. - When the alarm goes on, activate the snooze function by shaking it with a quick, lateral movement.
The snooze symbol (Fig.1-L) will appear on the display.
The alarm will be interrupted for 5 minutes.
Display light
The backlight is activated by a sensor that reacts to vibrations, e.g., by lifting and setting down the device.
- Alternatively, press any button. The backlight tums on for ten seconds.
In normal mode, press + or - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) button to adjust the brightness in 3 steps or switch off the backlight completely (OFF - LOW - MIDDLE - HIGH).
From 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., a permanent backlight automatically switches on at the set brightness level. Note: If the brightness is set to "OFF", the automatic backlighting at night is also switched off.
Night light
Press the LIGHT button (Fig.1-B) twice in quick succession in normal mode.
The night light symbol 品 (Fig.1-C) appears on the display. The function is activated.
- Flip over the alarm clock to turn on the night light. The night light faces up.
In this position you can now use the + or - button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) to set the brightness to 7 different levels.
To turn off the night light, flip over to the alarm clock side. The digital alarm clock faces up again.
To deactivate the night light function, press the LIGHT button twice in quick succession in normal mode. The night light symbol disappears.
