What types of batteries can I charge with this charger?

You can charge rechargeable NiMH batteries of type AAA (Micro) up to 1100 mAh, AA (Mignon) up to 3000 mAh, and 9V blocks up to 300 mAh. Never charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Can I charge batteries of different capacities at the same time?

Yes, the charger manages each compartment independently. You can combine different types and capacities, but note that if you charge a 9V block, the two middle compartments cannot be used.

What does the optional discharge function mean?

The discharge function allows you to fully empty the batteries before recharging. This prevents the memory effect and optimizes capacity. To activate it, press the discharge button before inserting the batteries.

How long does it take to charge a 2500 mAh AA battery?

The approximate charging time for a 2500 mAh AA battery is about 5.5 hours with a charge current of 650 mA. Times vary depending on initial capacity.

What to do if the LCD screen displays nothing?

Check that the outlet works and the charger is properly plugged in. If the problem persists, try another outlet. The screen should turn on as soon as power is connected.

How to know if a battery is defective?

The charger automatically detects defective batteries and displays an error symbol on the LCD screen. If this happens, remove the battery and do not recharge it.

Can I leave the charger plugged in permanently?

It is not recommended to leave the charger unattended for a long period. Once the batteries are charged, remove them and unplug the charger. The charger goes into maintenance charge, but it is safer to unplug it.

What to do if a battery is inserted backwards?

The charger will not detect the battery and will display nothing. Remove it and insert it in the correct direction (+ and -) as indicated in the compartment. The charger protects against reverse polarity.

How to clean the charger?

Before cleaning, unplug the charger and remove all batteries. Use a soft dry or slightly damp cloth (with a little mild dish soap if necessary). Never use abrasive products or solvents.

INTENDED USE

The product is used to charge rechargeable NiMH batteries (AAA / AA / 9V E-Block) of the usual capacities. It has a selectable discharge function that completely discharges round cells before charging.

The product is intended exclusively for private household use and not for commercial use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the complete instruction manual carefully before using the product. It contains important instructions for using the product. If you pass on the product to third parties, please also pass on this operating manual.

Check the product for damage. If you discover damage, do not use the product. Contact your dealer.

Keep the product and the pa- ckaging away from children. This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the product.

This product may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, only if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and are aware of the hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and care must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1. Capacity quick test: Residual capacity is determined before charging begins and displayed for 5 seconds

2. Gentle pre-charging: Weak or deeply discharged battery is pre-charged with lower current if necessary

3. Battery analysis: Battery behavior is analyzed and evaluated to determine whether it is still reliably usable or defective

4. Quick charge: Battery is charged at maximum current

5. IQ switch-off: Intelligent monitoring of the battery for reliable charging and multiple protection against overcharging

6. Top-off charge: Ensures that the battery is gently charged to 100% capacity

7. Trickle charge: Battery is kept in a fully charged state by means of charging pulses

OPERATION

NORMAL CHARGING PROCESS CHARGING PROCESS WITH PRE-DISCHARGE *1
Connect the charger to an electrical outlet.
Insert the battery into the charging slot with the correct polarity (see engraving in the charging slot).
The product displays the charge status of the battery for 5 seconds and then automatically starts the charging process.
	Press the Discharge button.
	Pre-discharge starts for all inserted round cells
	After all round cells have been discharged, the charging process starts automatically.
As soon as a battery is fully charged, the charger switches to trickle charge.
You can now remove the fully charged battery.
After all batteries have been removed, disconnect the product from the power supply.

NOTE: It is not necessary to discharge batteries before each charge. We recommend pre-discharging after approx. 10 charging processes to prevent the lazy-battery effect, which reduces the discharge voltage of batteries. This effect occurs if NiMH batteries are often only partially discharged and then recharged.

Cleaning

Disconnect the power supply to the product and remove all batteries before cleaning.

Only use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning (if necessary, add a little mild washing-up liquid). Never use abrasives or solvents for cleaning.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries are special waste shall not be disposed of in the normal household waste. Al-hand used batteries and rechargeable batteries in to the action point intended for this. In this way you will fulfil your obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
