How to set the clock on the RU695D+BT?

Press and hold the CLOCK button (6). The hours flash: turn the VOLUME KNOB (1) to set the hours, then press CLOCK to confirm. The minutes flash: set with the VOLUME KNOB and confirm with CLOCK.

How to connect my phone via Bluetooth?

Select BT mode with the MODE button (4). On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select RU-695D+BT. Music then transfers automatically. Playback controls are done from the phone.

How to preset a radio station?

Tune to the desired station, then press and hold a PRESET button (12 to 17) until the beep. To recall a preset, briefly press the same button.

How to use the DAB+ function?

Press MODE (4) until DAB is selected. Use TUNE -/+ (2/3) to choose a channel. If no stations appear, press and hold AMS (5) for automatic scanning.

What to do if my USB stick is not recognized?

Ensure the USB stick is formatted in FAT32 and does not exceed 32 GB (USB 1.1 compatible). Some MP3 players may not work. Remove the stick only when the car radio is off.

How to activate random play?

In USB or TF card mode, press the RANDOM button (15) multiple times to enable/disable random play. You can also use REPEAT (14) to repeat a track, a folder, or all tracks.

How to answer a phone call via Bluetooth?

When your phone rings and is connected, press the ANSWER button (5) to pick up. To hang up, press HANG UP (4).

How to adjust the equalizer?

From any mode, press the EQ button (11) multiple times to choose between the presets: FLAT, POP, CLASSIC, ROCK, JAZZ.

What is the maximum capacity of the TF card?

The accepted TF (microSD) card can be up to 32 GB. Insert it into the TF PORT (9); playback starts automatically.

How to clean the car radio?

Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use chemical or abrasive products. Avoid moisture and direct sunlight. Disconnect the device before cleaning.

- Your new unit was manufactured and assembled under strict ROADSTAR quality control. Thank-you for purchasing our product for your music enjoyment. Before operating the unit, please read this instruction manual carefully. Keep it also handy for further future references.

Installation into the dashboard

(EN) RESET BUTTON

press [RST] (19) button with a tip for 2 seconds.

The device will return to factory settings.

(DE) RESET BUTTON

• INSTRUCTIONS - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the radio is operated. The manual should be retained for future reference.
• HEED WARNINGS - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
• WATER AND MOISTURE - The appliance should not be used near liquids or in rooms with a high level of humidity.
• VENTILATION - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation.
• HEAT - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
• POWER SOURCE - The radio should be connected to power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
• POWER CORD PROTECTION - Power supply cord should be routed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon/against them.
• OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
• SERVICING - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that descrive in the user operating instructions. All the servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.

Note: If the display does not function properly or no reaction to operation of any control may due to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and disconnect the AC cord then turn the power back on after a few seconds.

1. Press the [POWER] button (1) to power ON;
2. Select the desired audio source by pressing the [MODE] button (4);
3. (Please see detailed instructions for each Source in the following chapters);
4. Adjust the volume with the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to the desired level;
5. To power OFF the radio, press and hold the [POWER] button (1).

CLOCK SETTING

1. Press and hold [CLOCK] button (6) to access to the menu;
2. Use the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to adjust the hour;
3. Confirm with the [CLOCK] button (6);
4. Use the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to adjust the minutes;
5. Confirm with the [CLOCK] button (6).

NAVIGATE INTO THE MENU

1. Press the [MENU] button (1) to access to the options;
2. Use the [VOL KNOB] (1) to select setting preferences;
3. Confirm with the [ENTER] button (1);
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to set other preferences.

EQ OPERATIONS

In any mode, you may press repeatedly the [EQ] button (11), to select between FLAT / POP / CLASSIC / ROCK / JAZZ.

DAB RADIO OPERATION

1. Select "DAB" mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Use the [TUNE -/+] buttons (2/3) to select the desired radio station.
   Note: In case there is No DAB Service, press and hold the [AMS] button (5) to start scan.

INFO

When the radio station is playing, press the [INFO] button (5) repeatedly to cycle through the information broadcasted by the radio.

1. Select "RADIO" mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Select desired band by using the [BAND] button (5);
3. Use the [TUNE -/+] buttons (2/3) to select the desired radio station or press and hold (2 seconds) to scan the next/previous available station.

STORE RADIO STATIONS AUTOMATICALLY:

Press & Hold the [AMS] button (5) (for 3 seconds) and the radio will automatically scan the radio. During the scanning process, the radio will save the scanned stations sequentially into the memory.

PRESET

There are 6 x 3 (FM1, FM2, FM3) presets available for FM and 6 x 2 (AM1, AM2) presets for AM.

1. Set the desired radio station frequency as explained previously;
2. Press and hold the [PRESET] button (12 to 17 of the remote).

To Recall a preset station press the [PRESET] button (12 to 17).

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

1. Select "BT" mode by by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] knob (4);
2. Connect your Bluetooth portable device to the ID Bluetooth tagged as "RU-695D+BT";
3. You can now transfer the music to the RU-695D+BT.

Note: Music control (play, pause, etc) must be done from your external device.

ANSWER A PHONE CALL:

To Answer a phone call when your device is connected to the Speaker, press the [ANSWER] button (5). To hang up the phone call press the [HANG UP] button (4).

USB OPERATION

1. Plug an USB stick into the [USB PORT] (8);
2. Playback will start automatically from the first track.

Notes:

• Some mp3 player may not be able to play via the usb socket. this is not a maul-function of the system.
  • To avoid damage to USB memory, remove it only when the radio is turned off.
  • The USB port is not designed for charging smartphones or other devices.

TF OPERATION

1. Plug a micro SD (TF) card into the [TF PORT] (9);
2. Playback will start automatically from the first track.

REPEAT - RANDOM MODE

During playback, press repeatedly the [REPEAT] button (14) to select:

• REP-ONE: The current track is played repeatedly.
• REP-DIR: The current folder is played repeatedly.
  • REP-ALL: All tracks are played repeatedly.

Or press repeatedly the [RANDOM] button (15) to enable/disable random playback.

AUX-IN OPERATION

1. Select "AUX" mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Use one male to male 3.5mm jack cable (not included) to connect any external audio device to the [AUX-IN SOCKET] (7).

Note: Music control (play, pause, etc) must be done from your external device.
