How to turn the car radio on and off?

Press the PWR button (1) to turn on the device. To turn off, press the same button again.

How to set the clock?

Press the CLK button (22) for three seconds. The hour blinks. Turn the VOLUME knob (3) to set the hours. Press CLK again to switch to minutes, then turn VOLUME to set the minutes. Press CLK again to exit the setting.

How to memorize a radio station?

Select the desired band (FM1, FM2 or FM3) with the BAND button (10). Tune the station manually or by auto search. Press and hold a preset button (1 to 6) for about 2 seconds. The station is memorized.

How to play MP3 files from a USB drive or SD card?

Insert the USB drive into the USB port (15) or the SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC slot (16). Playback starts automatically. Use the skip buttons (up/down) to change tracks. The INTRO, REPEAT and RANDOM functions are available.

What to do if the car radio does not turn on?

First check the fuse. If it is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same rating (see manual). If the problem persists, check the electrical connections: the +12V wire (connector A, wire #7) must be connected to the ignition key. If everything is correct, consult a qualified technician.

How to use the equalizer?

Press the EQ button (6) to cycle through preset modes: Rock, Pop, Class, DSP Off. The selected mode appears on the display. To manually adjust treble and bass, use the SEL button (2) and the VOLUME knob (3).

How to adjust volume, treble, bass, balance and fader?

Press the SEL button (2) repeatedly to scroll through options: Volume, Treble, Bass, Balance, Fader, Loudness. For each option, turn the VOLUME knob (3) to adjust the value. The selection order is indicated in the manual.

What do the symbols in the manual mean?

The exclamation mark symbol inside a triangle draws attention to important operating and maintenance instructions. The lightning bolt symbol inside a triangle warns of electric current inside the device, which may present a risk.

How to replace a fuse?

Turn off the power. Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same rating (indicated on the device). Never use a higher rated fuse. If the fuse blows again, consult a technician.

FM reception is poor, what should I do?

Check that the antenna is properly connected. You can activate DX/LOC mode via the SEL button (2) to improve reception of distant stations (DX) or reduce sensitivity in urban areas (LOC). If the problem persists, the antenna or installation may be faulty.

Note: 12 V wire (connector A no. 7) must be connected by car ignition key in order to avoid that car battery becomes weak when the car will be not used for long period.

Maintenance

FUSE REPLACEMENT

If the fuse blows, check the power connection and replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again after the replacement, there may be an internal malfunction. In this case, consult your nearest repairing centre.

Warning

Use the specified amperage fuse for each lead. Use of a higher amperage fuse may cause serious damage.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

POWER ON/OFF (1) (PWR)

Push Power button in order to switch on the unit. Push PWR button newly in order to switch off the unit and push REL button (14) to release the front panel.

Note: Never release the front panel when the unit is on. Power remains on even when car radio is off.

SELECT (2) / VOLUME UP/DOWN (3)

Rotate the VOLUME Knob (3) to control the VOLUME. To select other functions, press the SELECT (2) button shortly until the desired functions is shown on the display. Figure 1 shows how control functions are selected using the SELECT button.

- VOLUME CONTROL

Rotate the VOLUME knob to increase or decrease the volume. This knob can be used to adjust the BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE and FADER.

This knob also selects the possible options in RDS function.

- PRESET STATIONS (1,2,3,4,5,6) (4)

(A) RADIO MODE:

When pressed short, these keys select a preset station directly. When pressed longer than 1 sec., current station is stored in preset memory bank.

- AMS (AUTOMATIC PRESET STATION (5))

When pressed, the strongest radio stations are stored in sequence to the memory of the unit.

- EQUALIZER BUTTON (6)

Press in sequence this button to change the Equalizer preset.

- PLAY / PAUSE BUTTON (7)

Press this button to Play or put in Pause the MP3 song when reproduced by USB or SD.

- DISPLAY BUTTON (8)

When this key is pressed, it is operated as the conversion of each display mode.

- MODE BUTTON (9)

By pressing this key, user can select.

RADIO mode or USB-SD mode.

- BAND BUTTON (10)

Each band is toggled cyclically by pressing this key FM1---FM2---FM3.

- AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL TUNING (FREQ UP >> OR FREQ DOWN <<)

(A) RADIO MODE

When pressed short, these keys are operated as MANUAL tuning mode.

When pressed longer than 1 sec., they are operated as SEEK tuning mode.

When pressed short, they are operated as TRACK UP or TRACK DOWN mode.

- LCD DISPLAY (13)

The Liquid Crystal Display will display the current state of the unit.

- USB PORT (15)

- SD / MMC SLOT-IN (16)

Insert the SD/MMC card into the card slot. Playback starts automatically.

- PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (7)

During "PLAY", press (17) 'PAUSE' button to "PAUSE". Press it again to resume play.

- INTRO BUTTON MP3 SCAN (18)

When this button is pressed, 'SCN' indication is displayed and the first several seconds of each track of the disc are played. Press again to stop intro and listen to track.

- REPEAT BUTTON (19)

When this button is pressed, 'RPT' indication is displayed and play of the selected track will be continually repeated until the Track repeat mode is cancelled by pressing 'RPT' button again.

- RANDOM BUTTON (20)

When this button is pressed, 'SHF' indication is displayed and each track of the disc are played in random instead of normal progression. To cancel RANDOM mode, press 'SHF' button (20) again.

Press this button to move down through the directory menu.

-CLOCK BUTTON (22)

Press this button to display the current time.

CLOCK SETTING

To set the clock, press the CLK (Clock Setting) button (22) for three seconds. Move the Volume knob (3) to set the Hour, then press the SEL button (2) to switch to Minute mode. Adjust the Volume to set the minute then press SEL button again to complete the operation.

- ID3 Tag

If the MP3 file is available with ID3 TAG, pressing the display button repeatedly will show information of the song.
