How to reset and refresh the MADISON MADCENTER200CDBK hifi system after repeated power outages?
Frequently Asked Questions - 02/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

After repeated power outages, your MADISON MADCENTER200CDBK hifi system may exhibit anomalies. Here is the recommended recovery procedure:

Step 1: Power Cut Reset

  • Completely unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds to allow the device to fully discharge.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Turn on the system using the Standby button located on the front panel.

Step 2: Check Functionality

  • After a few seconds, the amplifier should be in normal operating condition.
  • Check that the LED lights up completely on the front panel. If the LED does not light up or blinks abnormally, this indicates a persistent problem.
  • Select an input source (AUX, Bluetooth, FM, USB, or CD) using the input selection button on the front panel.
  • Adjust the volume to an appropriate level and test the device with each available source.

Step 3: If the problem persists

  • Immediately turn off the system if the LED does not light up or if no sound is coming out.
  • Wait a full minute before plugging it back in.
  • Check that the internal fuse has not blown: if it is faulty, only a qualified technician can replace it with a fuse of identical specifications.
  • Ensure that all connections (power cord, audio connectors, speaker cables) are properly plugged in and secure.

If after these steps the system remains faulty (total absence of sound, non-functional LED, persistent display anomalies), immediately unplug the device and contact your retailer or an authorized after-sales service for professional assistance.
