1. Before you use this product

• Please make sure you read the instruction manual carefully.

• Following and respecting the instructions in your manual will prevent damage to your instrument and loss of your statutory rights arising from defects due to incorrect use.

• We shall not be liable for any damage occurring as a result of non-following of these instructions. Likewise, we take no responsibility for any incorrect readings or for any consequences resulting from them.

• Please pay particular attention to the safety notices!

2. Range of application and all the benefits of your new instrument at a glance

• Count-up timer with 1/100 sec.

• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application described above.

• This product should only be used as described within these instructions.

• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited. Caution! Risk of injury!

• Keep this device and the batteries out of reach of children.

• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swal- lowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!

• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leak- ing.

• Never use a combination of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types.

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor. Important information on product safety!

• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.

• Protect it from moisture!

• Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

• Remove the batteries if you do not use the device for a long period of time.

• Open the battery compartment and remove the insulation strip.

• A short beep will sound and all LCD segments will light up for about 2 seconds.

• The unit is now ready to use.

• Press and hold HR button or MIN/12/24 HR button or SEC button, you will enter fast mode.

• All successful settings will be confirmed by an acoustical signal.

• Press and hold CLOCK/TIMER button in CLOCK-mode for 3 seconds.

• Press HR button to set the hours, press MIN/12/24 HR button to set the minutes and press SEC button to set the seconds.

• Confirm with CLOCK/TIMER button.

• Press MIN/12/24 HR button to choose 12 HR (AM or PM appears on the display) or 24 HR system.

• In the middle display the 1/100 seconds will be counted.

• Hours, minutes and seconds appear in the lower display.

• Use ST/SP/MEMORY button to stop and restart the counting.

• Press CLEAR button to reset the display.

• In TIMER mode TIMER 1 appears in the upper, TIMER 2 in the middle and TIMER 3 in the lower display.

• Press and hold T1 or T2 or T3 to select a TIMER.

• A short beep will sound and the selected TIMER is flashing.

• Press HR button to set the hours, press MIN/12/24 HR button to set the minutes and press SEC button to set the seconds.

• Press the respective T1 or T2 or T3 button to confirm the desired setting.

• Press T1 or T2 or T3 button to start the count-down of the respective TIMER.

• Press T1 or T2 or T3 button again to stop/restart the counting of the respective TIMER.

• For simultaneous operation of all three TIMERS set the desired time for TIMER 1, TIMER 2, TIMER 3.

• Press ST/SP/MEMORY button to start, stop and restart the countdown of TIMER 1, TIMER 2, TIMER 3 at the same time.

• When the TIMER counts down to 00:00:00, a beeping alarm (1 min.) will sound, the dis- play flashes and TIME'S UP appears.

• Now the TIMER will start to count up the elapsed time until it is stopped by pressing ST/SP/MEMORY button or the respective TIMER button (T1, T2, T3).

• During the countdown function press CLOCK/TIMER button to return to CLOCK-mode. The running TIMER is flashing in the display and after the time is over the beeping alarm will sound and TIME'S UP appears in the respective display.

• The instrument stores the latest time setting of the TIMER.

• Press ST/SP/MEMORY button.

• MEMORY and the latest time setting appear in the display.

• Press the respective TIMER button (T1, T2, T3).

• MEMORY disappears in the display and the counting starts.

• With the foldable leg the instrument can be placed onto flat surfaces.

• Use the magnet at the back of the instrument for placement on metal surfaces.

• Use the suspension device to fix the instrument with a nail at a wall.

12. Battery replacement

• Replace the batteries when the display becomes weak.

• Open the battery compartment and insert two new batteries (2 x 1.5 V AAA), polarity as illustrated.

13. Trouble shooting
