KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IN A SAFE PLACE!18 GB/IE Check the product for damage before use. Never use a damaged product. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super- vision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by chil- dren without supervision. Never use the product if any defects have been identified. The LEDs are not replaceable. If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be re- placed. This product is solely suitable for use in dry, closed in- door spaces. Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-re- chargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / re- chargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result. Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.19 GB/IE Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention. WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage. Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period. Risk of damage of the product Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery! Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product. Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting! Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.20 GB/IE Use Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Installation Secure the mounting plate
to a level wooden surface using the screws
included. Refer to figures C or D, respectively. Place the eyes on the bottom part of the LED light
onto the mount- ing plate and latch in the LED light, sliding it sideways as illustrated in Figure E. Before use The batteries
are factory installed. Pull the two insulating strips out of the two battery compartments to activate. Start-up For both model HG00092A and HG00092B, the swivel spotlights
can be tilted approx. 45° in any direction (see Fig. A or B).21 GB/IE Switching swivel spots on / off The LED light
is controlled using the On / Off switch
. This button has three settings: Press on / off switch once: high light output. Press on / off switch again: low light output. Press the on / off switch again: turns the light off. Replacing batteries Slide the mounting plate
and remove from the bracket. There are two battery compartments at the rear centre of the LED light
(see Fig. F). Press the handle on the battery compartment slightly toward the compartment and lift the battery compartment cover
to open the battery compartment. Remove old used batteries from battery compartment (if applicable). Insert batteries in the compartment as indicated. Replace the battery cover to close the battery compartment. Apply light pressure until the handle locks in again. Cleaning and Care Use a dry, soft and lint-free cloth for cleaning and care. Use a slightly dampened cloth and a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt.22 GB/IE Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
