ENJOY THE SOUND! Your beyerdynamic PRO X Team SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Risk of injury u We would like to point out that excessively high volumes and long liening times may cause hearing damage. Hearing defects always conitute an irreversible impairment of hearing ability. If you suer from tinnitus, do not use headphones or reduce the volume. u According to regulations to protect employees against damages caused by noise and vibrations, please follow these instructions: 85 dB SPL for max. 8 hours 88 dB SPL for max. 4 hours 91 dB SPL for max. 2 hours 94 dB SPL for max. 1 hour 97 dB SPL for max. 30 minutes 100 dB SPL for max. 15 minutes u When connecting the headphones, please ensure that the volume is turned down to minimum. Adjust the volume after putting on the headphones. Danger to life u Headphones draically reduce perception of external sounds. Using headphones in road traic can be potentially dangerous. The user’s hearing mu not be impaired to the extent that it causes road safety risks. Please also make sure that you do not use the headphones in traic, especially within an area of potentially dangerous machines and tools. u Fuhermore, avoid using headphones in situations where hearing mu not be aected, especially when crossing a railway crossing or at a conruction site. APPLICATION With the closed DT 700 PRO X, beyerdynamic presents a pair of circumaural udio headphones that are suitable for professional recording and monitoring in the udio as well as on the road. This is enabled by the STELLAR.45 driver, developed in Heilbronn, which reproduces the be udio-quality sound loudly and poweully on all playback devices. Whether on an inteace, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, there are no limits to creativity. The detachable mini-XLR cable can be replaced by cables of dierent lengths and connection options. The rugged spring eel headband conruction gives the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures durability. The supple velour ear pads are so to touch, as you would expect, and ensure comfoable air circulation. Thanks to so memory foam, the headband adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head and, like the ear pads, it can be replaced when necessary. Robu and high-quality materials complete these headphones, which are handmade in Germany.

MAINTENANCE u As with any equipment which will be used in close proximity to sensitive areas of the body, it is essential that the ear pads and headband are kept clean. Use a damp cloth for cleaning using warm water only taking care not to allow any water drops into the ear cups or transducers. u If necessary, you can carefully remove the ear pads and headband pad and clean them with mild soapy water. u WARNING: Never use any solvent cleaning agents! Furthermore, the pads must be completely dry before they are attached to the headphone again. u WARNING: Never use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning the headphones, as this may cause irreparable damage. u Should it become necessary to replace the ear pads or the headband pad, refer to “Replacement parts and Accessories”. You can easily do this yourself. u If other components have to be replaced, please contact your local beyerdynamic representative.4

u The lockable connecting cable is fitted with a 3-pin mini XLR cable connector to the headphones. u For correct assembly, the small release button of the cable mu face to the outer site of the headphone. u When connecting the cable, make sure that the cable connector locks in place of the ear cup. u Caution: Connect the jack connector of the headphone cable to a headphone socket only! If you connect the headphones to any other jack socket, the head- phones could be damaged. u When you want to change the cable, please press the small button for release and simultaneously pull o the cable connector from the headphone.

HOW TO CHANGE THE EAR PADS

u To remove the ear pad, carefully pull apa the gap between housing and ear pad using your fingeips or a narrow blunt object. u To attach the ear pad, make sure that the snap-in nose of the ear pad sits in the right place. u Then press gently with the palm of your hand again the ear pad until the ring snaps into place. release button release button5

u To remove the headband pad, carefully pull on the silicon rap until all hooks of the headband pad are released from the headband u To attach the headband pad, make sure that the snap-in nose on the right side sits in the right place. u Then press gently the pad into the headband until the hooks snap into place.
