What CO₂ gas bottle can I use?

Use a 0.6 L CO₂ gas bottle compatible with the machine. Most standard bottles on the market are suitable. Check with the supplier before purchase.

Can I use a PET bottle from another brand?

No, only the supplied PET bottle or a bottle with the same quick-connect fitting is recommended. Using other brands may be dangerous and voids the warranty.

What to do if the machine does not carbonate?

Make sure the machine is in an upright position. Check the CO₂ bottle: if empty, replace with a new one.

What to do if gas leaks after releasing the carbonation button?

Do not remove the CO₂ bottle or the PET bottle. Leave the appliance upright and wait for the gas to stop escaping. Then press the gas release button, unscrew the PET bottle, and replace the CO₂ bottle with a new one.

What to do if gas leaks after screwing on the CO₂ bottle?

Screw on the CO₂ bottle only when it is still warm. Replace the black sealing gasket in the CO₂ bottle holder.

Why does water overflow from the PET bottle during carbonation?

Check that you have not overfilled the bottle (adhere to the indicated level) and do not press the carbonation button for more than 2-3 seconds. A slight overflow is normal.

How to clean the soda maker?

Wipe the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Do not wash it in the dishwasher and do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

How to clean the PET bottle?

Wash the bottle and its cap with water (max. 40°C) frequently. Do not put them in the dishwasher.

Can I add syrup to the bottle before carbonating?

No, never mix water and syrup in the bottle. Carbonate the water first, then add the syrup in another container.

What is the warranty period?

The warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase. Keep your receipt. The warranty does not cover damage due to improper use or repairs by third parties.

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. Make sure the Soda Maker machine, the PET bottle and the CO_2 gas cylinder are well installed before start. Please note the CO_2 gas cylinder is not provided with the machine. Please purchase it from your local stores. CO_2 gas cylinder should be 0.6L.
2. Before exchanging an empty cylinder for a full one, please make sure to ask for a CO_2 gas cylinder that fits the Soda Maker machine. Do not try to fit a cylinder other than recommended CO_2 gas cylinder.
3. Only use the accessories that included or recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Do not repair the machine and accessories by yourself.
5. Never place or store the appliance, PET bottle and CO_2 gas cylinder close to the heat source (such as stoves, heaters, etc.) and keep them out of the direct sunlight.
6. Do not place the PET bottle or the CO _2 gas cylinder in the freezer!
7. Never transport the appliance with the gas cylinder inside.

8. Fill the bottle with water only, not with other drinks (like beer, wine, juices, soft drinks...). Otherwise, there is a risk that the contents with foam over.

9. Do not mix the water with syrup inside the bottle. Use another container to mix with the sparkled water with syrup if you want to have a delicious soft drink.

10. Never attempt to fill an empty bottle with CO_2 .

11. The appliance works only with the provide bottle. Please ensure that all extra PET bottles purchased have the same fitting. Use of other brand bottles may be unsafe and will void the term of warranty.

12. The bottle can be damaged by extreme hot or cold (above 40^ C or below 0^ C).

13. Every PET bottle has an expiry date – Do NOT use the bottle once expired!

14. If you notice that your bottle has become worn, scratched, color changed, lost its transparency or shape or was damaged, do not use it. Please discard the bottle immediately and replace it with a new one.

15. Caution! The CO_2 gas cylinder is pressurized. Avoid children to play with the CO_2 gas cylinder.

16. Always place or store the CO_2 gas cylinder in a cool place (temperature is not over 40^ ).

17. The appliance has been designed to be used with specific cylinders. Please make sure to use a CO _2 gas cylinder that fits the appliance. Any or other use will void the warranty.

18. Do not remove the cylinder during the carbonation process.

19. If the gas cylinder losses efficiency, the valve or bottle body is damaged, exchange a new CO_2 gas cylinder. Do not change the valve or the bottle body, it may cause enormous danger in this way. It is forbidden to repair by unauthorized person or by yourself.

20. If the cylinder is iced over avoid all physical contact with it. Danger of ice burn.

GET STARTED

(First usage / Replacement of CO₂ gas cylinder)

1. Tilt and remove the PET bottle from the appliance.
2. Hold the rotating head of the appliance and slightly rotate it anticlockwise to unlock/open the head.
3. Remove the cup protector (A) from the CO₂ gas cylinder head.

Before installing the CO_2 gas cylinder, carefully check the black sealing ring is on the cylinder holder (B).

1. Screw the cylinder on the appliance head tightly with your hands and place it back on to the appliance housing.
2. Rotate the head of the appliance until locks.

Note: If you find the black sealing ring is missing, you can replace it with the accessorial spare sealing ring (8).

1. Put the sealing ring into the cylinder holder.
2. Press the sealing ring into position with your finger or other useful tools.

DAILY USE

Make sure the Soda Maker machine, the PET bottle and the CO_2 gas cylinder are well installed before start.

Please note the CO₂ gas cylinder is not provided with the machine. Please purchase it from your local stores.

CO _2 gas cylinder should be 0.6L.

1. Always fill the PET bottle with water up to the marked level and screw it into the appliance.
2. Press the carbonate button for 2-3 seconds to carbonate. If you wish, you can press it again to get extra carbonic.
3. Press the gas release button to release the gas pressure. A hissing sound will be heard. Keep pressing until no more hissing sound can be heard; it means the gas pressure has been released completely.

NOTE: The gas pressure must be released completely, otherwise the PET bottle cannot be loosened!

1. Unscrew the bottle clockwise from the appliance. Now the carbonated water is ready to drink and you can flavor the carbonated water as desired.

NOTE: Do not add flavor into water before carbonating!

Very small amount of water may leak out when overfilled or if you press the carbonate button too long. Do not worry, it is normal. Clean up the water in the tray when necessary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use another brand of CO_2 gas cylinder?

- Yes. The Soda Maker machine is compatible with most of the popular cylinders in the market. Please check with the CO_2 gas cylinder suppliers before use.

Can I use another brand of PET bottle?

- The bottle is special designed for the machine with quick-connect design that attaches easily and securely every time; other brands may not suit. Please ensure that all extra PET bottles purchased have the same fitting.

What should I do if the Soda Maker machine does not carbonate?

• Make sure the appliance is always in the upright position.
• Check the CO _2 gas cylinder, exchange it if empty.

What should I do if the Soda Maker machine continues to release gas after the carbonate button has been released?

• Do not remove the CO _2 gas cylinder or the PET bottle. Leave the appliance in the upright position and do not touch the appliance until no more gas is heard escaping.
• When no more gas is being released, push the gas release button and unscrew the PET bottle. Unscrew the CO2 gas cylinder and exchange it with a new one.
  CAUTION: the CO2 gas cylinder may be very cold!

What to do if the gas leaks after you have screwed the CO_2 gas cylinder into the appliance?

- Please screw out the CO 2 gas cylinder only when it is still warm. Replace the black sealing ring in the CO 2 gas cylinder holder.

What should I do if the water overflows from the PET bottle while carbonating?

For the PET bottle: do not wash the bottle or its cap in the dishwasher. Clean the bottle and cap frequently with water (max. 40°C)

Before delivery our devices are subjected to rigorous quality control. If, despite all care, damage has occurred during production or transportation, please return the device to your dealer. In addition to statutory legal rights, the purchaser has an option to claim under the terms of the following guarantee:

For the purchased device we provide 2 years guarantee, commencing from the day of sale. If you have a defective product, you can directly go back to the point of purchase.

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can't claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable.

Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
