INTENDED USE
This unit is used to transmit speech and singing. It is intended exclusively for this purpose and may only be used for this purpose. It may only be used in the manner described in these instructions for use.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
The microphone system comes with microphones with integrated transmitters that are used for wireless signal transmission to the receiver unit. The systems operate within the UHF spectrum (823 MHz - 832 MHz). The transmission range is approx. 50m and depends on the local conditions. The units are designed for indoor use.
APPROVAL
The radio microphone system has been tested according to the European standards EN 300422-1 V1.3.2, EN 300422-2 V1.2.2, EN 301489-9-1 V1.9.1, EN 301489-9-1 V1.4.1 and EN 60065:2002+A1, EN 60065: 2006+A11, EN 60065: 2008+A2: 2010, EN 62479: 2010.
This product therefore complies with the RED Directive of the European Union and therefore does not require an individual EC type examination of each member country. The inspection body is

This radio equipment corresponds to equipment class 2 and requires an individual frequency allocation for operation in the Federal Republic of Germany. The forms for frequency allocation can be found online on the website of the Federal Network Agency: www.bundesnetzagentur.de.

SYSTEM CONNECTION

- Connect the AC adapter to the DC connector on the back of the receiver. Plug the AC adapter into an AC 120V / 220V 50Hz socket.
- Set the antenna at a 45^ angle from vertical.
- Use the audio cable to connect the audio output of the receiver to the input of your amplifier system.
CONNECTING THE POCKET WIRELESS TRANSMITTER


Connect the plug of the supplied lavalier microphone to the connection socket of the transmitter (as shown on the left). Set the operating mode (L) on the transmitter of the lavalier system.
Headset connection


Connect the plug of the supplied headset to the connection socket of the transmitter (as shown on the left). Set the operating mode (H) on the transmitter for the headsets.
Inserting the batteries into the microphone and transmitter:
Slide open the battery compartment cover, insert the supplied batteries into the battery compartment, observing the polarity, and close the cover again.


TIPS FOR ACHIEVING OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE
- Make sure that you can always see one of the receiving antennas from the transmitting position.
- Keep the distance from the transmitter to the receiver as short as possible.
- Set the receiving antennas at an angle of 45^ from vertical.
- Make sure that the receiving antenna is not near any metal surfaces.
- Check the battery level and replace the batteries when the red lamp lights up.
- When using the receiver on a rack or a PA system, make sure that the antennas do not touch or cross each other.
- Test the system out before a demonstration or presentation. If there are any radio holes, change the location of the receiver. If the dead spots still remain, mark them and work around them.
