How to charge the Concept ZA7030 shaver?

Plug the supplied power adapter into the power socket (12) and connect it to the mains. Charging time is about 1.5 h. The indicator light (3) shows charging status.

Can I use the shaver while charging?

Yes, the trimmer can be used with the power adapter if the battery is at least partially charged, or only on a charged battery.

How to adjust the cutting length?

You can use the removable cutting guides (4-10) for lengths from 4 to 30 mm, or fine-tune the dial (11) from 0.8 to 2.8 mm without a comb.

Is the shaver waterproof?

No, it should not be used in water or immersed. Only use on dry hair and avoid humid environments.

How to clean the blades?

Press the blades to release the cutting head, clean it with the provided brush. Never rinse under running water. Oil the blade teeth after every second use.

What to do if the motor does not work?

How to replace the battery?

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
• Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.

CAUTION:

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The appliance is designed for cutting hair and beard.

CUTTING

WARNING! Use the hair trimmer only on dry hair. Do not use on freshly washed hair!

Note: The trimmer can be operated with an AC adapter (if the battery is at least partially charged) or only on a charged battery.

1. Position the person to be trimmed in front of you on a chair so that the top of the head is at the height of your chest.
2. Cover the neck and shoulders of the person to be trimmed against falling hair.
   3.Comb the hair.
3. Ensemble the trimmer with the desired attachment. For finer cut adjustment, do not put any attachments and select the desired cut length (0.8 / 1.5 / 2.2 / 2.8 mm) using the length switch (11). Then turn on the trimmer.
4. Cut your hair in slow, repeated movements. Always cut small parts of hair. We recommend starting with a higher comb attachment and gradually replacing it with a lower one.
5. For best haircut results, always move the hair trimmer against the direction of hair growth.
6. For easier cutting of longer and wavy hair, you can guide the hair with a comb against the blades. Remove the cut hair so that the cutting mechanism does not get clogged.
7. To adjust the length of the hair around the ears and back of the neck, remove the comb attachment.
8. Comb the hair ends over the ears before cutting the line around the ears. To align the hairline at the back of the neck and at the neck, rotate the cutting mechanism perpendicular to the skin and create a clean hairline with a slow downward movement.
9. Always turn off the appliance when you put it down during use.
10. After use, switch off the appliance and remove the attachment (if used).
11. If you use the appliance in the bathroom, be sure to switch it off and unplug it immediately after use, as the proximity of water and the appliance's contact with water is very dangerous, even when the appliance is turned off!

When replacing the comb attachments, the appliance must be switched off!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!

Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet!

To thoroughly clean the blades on the cutting head, press your thumb against the blades until the head is released. After cleaning, replace it. You will hear a click when the head is successfully inserted back into the appliance.

Clean the blades after each use with the enclosed brush.

We recommend lubricating the blades after every second use of the appliance. Apply a few drops of oil to the blade teeth and switch the appliance on to allow the oil to reach the blades.

Do not use hair oil, kerosene oil or solvent containing oil to lubricate the blades. They may slow the blade movement after drying.

To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance!

Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!

TROUBLESHOOTING

BATTERY DISPOSAL

The appliance contains a Li-ion battery. This type of battery contains substances that can damage the environment in their disintegration. Before disposing of the appliance or replacing the battery, the original battery must be removed and returned to a suitable collection point.

if leakage occurs when the accumulator is damaged, the electrolyte is of an alkaline character. If the electrolyte gets on your skin, wash it gently with soap and water and seek medical attention.

The manufacturer (or importer) is responsible for ensuring the product complies with the requirements of applicable legal regulations as well as those of the relevant technical standards. Moreover, they are responsible for ensuring the product has the properties the manufacturer described in documents related to the goods or those reasonably expected by the customer with regard to the nature of the goods or based on advertising produced by the manufacturer, and further they are responsible for ensuring the product is fit for the purpose proposed by the manufacturer or that a product of the same type is normally used for.

The quality warranty term is 24 months from product takeover by the customer.

The warranty does not apply to wear and tear caused by regular use. The customer shall not be entitled to any warranty claims if, prior to taking the product over, they knew the product contained a defect or if the defect is attributable to the customer.

The warranty specifically does not apply;

The warranty does not apply to any products and services provided along with the product (gifts, promotional articles, etc.).

Filing a complaint

A complaint against a product defect must be filed as soon as identified, yet no later than before the end of the warranty term.

The customer must file a product complaint with the dealer from which they have purchased the product, or with any authorised service centre, a list of which is included in the product package, or available at www.my-concept.com.

While filing a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person.

The customer must submit proof of having concluded a purchase contract for the product by producing the receipt.

While filing their complaint, the customer must indicate the noted defect and identify the preferred complaint application method.

Complaints processing

As long as the noted defect may be removed, the user has the right to have the defect duly removed free of charge on a timely basis.

Where such a procedure is not reasonable with regard to the nature of the defect, the user may require to be supplied a new defect-free product (replacement), or, where the defect applies to a part of the product only, replacement of the part concerned. However, if replacement of the product or any part thereof is not proportionate with regard to the nature of the defect, especially if the defect can be removed without undue delay, the customer has the right to have the defect removed free of charge.

If the noted defect is not removable, or if the customer becomes entitled to replacement of the product or a part thereof, yet the replacement is not possible, for example due to the product having been sold out, the customer has the right to return the product (withdrawal from the contract).

The customer shall have the right to a new product (replacement), or to replacement of a part of the product even if the defect can be removed, provided they cannot properly use the product due to repeated occurrence of the defect or due to a high number of such defects. In such a case, the customer also has the right to return the product (by withdrawing from the contract).

If the product is not returned (the customer does not withdraw from the contract), or if the customer does not apply the right to a new defect-free product (replacement), to replacement of a part thereof or to repair of the product, they may request a reasonable discount. The customer also has a right to a reasonable discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within a reasonable time limit, or if remediying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer.

The seller, authorised service centre or a staff member authorised by them must decide about each complaint. Immediately or within three business days in complicated cases. This term does not include a reasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned.
