Why does my IMOU Doorbell turn back on automatically after I turn it off?
Frequently Asked Questions - 30/03/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If your IMOU Doorbell turns back on automatically after you have turned it off, several reasons may explain this behavior:

1. Standby or partial shutdown mode

The doorbell may not completely turn off but instead enter standby mode, which causes it to turn back on automatically. Check the device or app settings to see if a standby mode is enabled and how to disable it.

2. Continuous power supply

If the doorbell is continuously powered by an electrical source (rechargeable internal battery or mains wiring), it may restart automatically after a temporary shutdown. For a complete shutdown, it may sometimes be necessary to physically disconnect the power supply.

3. Settings in the IMOU app

Some settings in the app may control the behavior of the doorbell, including energy-saving options or automatic restart. Browse the app menus to check if an option related to shutdown or automatic restart is enabled.

In summary, to prevent your doorbell from turning back on automatically, ensure that it is properly turned off via the app, that standby mode is disabled, and that the power supply is cut off if necessary.

How to disable low battery notifications on the IMOU Doorbell?
Frequently Asked Questions - 30/03/2026
Response Notice-Facile

To disable low battery notifications on your IMOU Doorbell, follow the steps below:

Steps to disable low battery notifications

  1. Open the IMOU app on your smartphone or tablet, which is used to manage your doorbell.
  2. Access your doorbell settings by selecting the device from the list of connected devices.
  3. Look for the "Notifications" section in the device settings.
  4. Disable low battery alerts if this option is available. This will prevent the app from sending you notifications when the battery is low.

Why does my IMOU Doorbell display a low battery message but does not recharge?
Frequently Asked Questions - 30/03/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If your IMOU Doorbell displays a low battery message but does not recharge, several causes may explain this problem. Here are the checks and solutions to consider:

1. Check the charging equipment

  • Ensure that the charging cable and adapter used are in good condition and compatible with your device.
  • Try another cable or adapter to rule out a hardware defect.

2. Check the charging port

  • Inspect the charging port of the doorbell for dust, dirt, or debris that may prevent a good connection.
  • Gently clean the port if necessary.

3. Charging conditions

  • Plug the doorbell into a stable power source and let it charge for several hours, even if no immediate indication appears.
  • Avoid charging the doorbell in extreme temperature environments (too cold or too hot), as this can affect the battery.

4. Restart the doorbell

  • If possible, restart the device to eliminate any potential temporary malfunction.

If after these steps the battery still does not recharge, it is likely that the internal battery is defective or that the doorbell requires professional repair.
