Frequently Asked Questions - ARNU18GV1A4 LG

What is the required supply voltage for the LG ARNU18GV1A4 water pump?
The pump operates at a voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz. It must be used on a dedicated circuit with an earth connection.
What is the maximum flow rate of this pump?
The maximum flow rate is approximately 120 L/min (at zero pressure). For continuous use, plan a lower flow rate to avoid overheating.
Can I use the pump with hot water?
Yes, up to a temperature of 35 °C. Beyond that, damage may occur. For very hot water, choose a specific model.
How to maintain the pump?
You should clean the inlet filter regularly (every 2 weeks with heavy use). Also check for leaks and grease the bearings if necessary.
What to do if the pump does not start?
First check the power supply (circuit breaker, outlet). If the indicator is on but no sound, the capacitor or motor may be defective. Contact a professional.
The pump makes an abnormal noise, what should I do?
A crackling noise may indicate cavitation (air in the circuit). Bleed the air by opening the valves. A dull noise may come from a worn bearing.
What is the maximum pressure supported?
The maximum pressure is 8 bar. Beyond that, the housing seal may fail. Install a pressure switch if your network exceeds this value.
The pump overheats, is this normal?
Slight warmth is normal. If it becomes burning hot (>90°C), the motor is overloaded. Stop immediately and check for blockage in the impeller.
Can I install the pump outdoors?
Yes, because it has a IP44 rating (protected against splashes). However, avoid direct exposure to rain and temperatures below 0°C.
Where can I find spare parts?
Parts such as seals, capacitor, impeller, gland are available from authorized LG dealers or on online spare parts sites.
