The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is in use. Never touch these surfaces and make use of the handle. The appliance must be heated by its heating element only. USING THE APPLIANCE IN TABLE GRILL MODE

  • If you want to use the appliance as a table grill and have a double cooking surface, open it completely. To do so, you just have to lift the lid a little bit when it is in vertical position and then open it further until the 2 cooking surfaces are horizontal.
  • When the appliance has reached the temperature, open the appliance completely and lightly brush the baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil. Since the appliance has a non-stick coated surface, the use of butter or oil is optional.

  • Frozen food should always be thawed before it is baked.

  • Before cleaning, put the timer in 0 position and make sure that the plug has been removed from the mains supply socket.
  • Allow the appliance to cool down thoroughly.
  • Wipe the outside only with a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.
  • Wipe the inside and the edges of the plate with a paper towel or a soft cloth.
  • Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
  • Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
