General Safety Instructions

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

Other specific safeguards

FILLING WATER

1. Before filling water, please pull out the plug first.
2. Set the steam control to the minimum position.
3. Pull down the cover of water filling mouth, and then fill water. Water tank is 450ml capacity
4. Important: fill only the tank with water. Do not add chemicals products or perfumes.

SPRAYING

Press the spraying button, water will be sprayed out from the spraying nozzle. At that time, you should keep enough water in the water tank.

STEAM IRONING

1. Use steam ironing, turn the steam control to minimum position and set the temperature control at the "..." or "... position.
2. After the indicator goes out, turn the steam control to the suitable position, steam will be sprayed, ironing can start.

BURSTING STEAM

This function proportions extra steam for eliminating wrinkles.

• Press the steam blast button. Wait a few seconds until vapour penetrates the fibres of the garment before pushing the button again. For optimum steam quality, do not apply more than three successive blasts.

DRY IRONING

Turn the steam control to minimum position, set the temperature control to the suitable position, you can dry ironing.

SELF CLEANING

It is important to self-clean the appliance at least once a month to remove calcium and any other built-up minerals inside the iron.

• Fill the water tank up to half with water
• Place the iron in a vertical position, plug in to the mains and select the maximum temperature.
• Leave the appliance to heat up until the pilot light indicates that it has reached its consigned temperature.
• Unplug the appliance and place in the sink.
• Press the self-clean button, and keep it pressed down.
• Let the water flow out through the steam vents in the base, while lightly shaking the appliance.
• Release the button after a minute or when the tank becomes empty.
• Leave the iron in the vertical position until it has cooled.

CERAMIC SOLEPLATE

1. Always unplug the device and let it cool down completely before
2. To remove build up scales in the steam holes, use a cotton wool tip moistened with mild descaling solution.
3. To avoid damage to the soleplate, never use any sharp object or metal utensil to scrap the soleplate

STORAGE
