GENERAL

1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given appropriate supervision or training concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

When using the iron for the first time, you may notice slight smoke and some noises caused by the expansion of the plastic materials. This is completely normal and will disappear after a short time. We recommend running the iron over an old cloth before using it for the first time.

PREPARATION FOR IRONING

Sort items to be ironed according to the international symbols on the labels (see box). If they don't have any, sort them according to the type of fabric.

Start ironing garments that require a lower temperature. This will reduce waiting time (the iron takes less time to heat up than it does to cool down) and eliminate the risk of burning the fabric.

STEAM IRONING

Filling the water tank:

1. Before filling the tank, unplug the iron.

2. Set the steam control to the lowest setting.

3. Open the water filler cap.

4. Place the iron in a vertical position to facilitate water entry and prevent overflow.

5. Pour the water slowly through the filling line using the measuring cup without exceeding the maximum level.

6. Close the filler cap again

Temperature selection:

1. Place the iron in a vertical position.
2. Plug the cable into the electrical outlet.
3. Adjust the temperature regulator according to the international symbol on the garment label (see table above). The indicator light indicates that the iron is heating up. Wait until this light goes out before ironing.

ATTENTION! During the ironing process, the indicator light will come on intermittently, indicating that the selected temperature is being maintained. If you lower the thermostat after ironing at high temperatures, do not start ironing until the indicator light comes back on.

Steam selection:

The amount of steam is adjusted with the steam regulator.

Move the regulator to a position between minimum and maximum depending on the amount of steam required and the selected temperature.

SPRAYING FUNCTION

Press the spray button, and water will spray out of the spray nozzle. There must be enough water in the tank to do this.

Make sure there is water in the tank. Press the spray button slowly for a dense spray, and quickly for a light spray.

CAUTION! For delicate fabrics, we recommend pre-damping the garment by pressing the spray button or placing a damp cloth between the garment and the iron. To avoid staining fabrics, do not use the spray button on silk or synthetic fabrics.

SELF-CLEANING

We recommend doing this cleaning every 10-15 days.

To use this feature follow the instructions below:

• Fill the water tank to the maximum level indicated (MAX) and set the steam output control to the position
• Set the temperature regulator to the maximum position and wait for the light to go out.
• Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and hold the iron horizontally over the sink, press the self-cleaning button and let all the water, steam and impurities out.
• Once the sole has cooled, you can clean it with a damp cloth.

ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM

A special resin filter inside the water tank softens the water and prevents limescale buildup on the water heater. The resin filter is permanent and does not need to be replaced.

ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM

With the anti-drip system you can perfectly iron even the most delicate fabrics.

Always iron these fabrics at a low temperature. The iron may cool to the point where steam no longer escapes, but instead drops of boiling water may leave marks or stains. In these cases, the Anti-Drip system automatically activates to prevent steam from escaping, so you can iron the most delicate fabrics without the risk of damaging or staining them.

AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN

The automatic shut-off feature activates after leaving the iron upright for approximately eight minutes or horizontally unused for approximately thirty seconds. WHEN YOU FINISH IRONING

1. Set the temperature control dial to the "OFF" position.

IRONING TIPS

If you don't know the composition of the garment, determine the most suitable temperature by testing a hidden corner on the back of the garment. Start with a low temperature and gradually increase until you reach the appropriate temperature.

Avoid ironing areas with sweat marks or other stains, as the heat of the iron sets these imperfections into the fabric, making them difficult to remove later. "Taping" items (elbow patches, patches, knee pads, etc.) are most effective with dry ironing at a moderate temperature, as excessive heat can burn the material and cause yellow stains.

To prevent marks on silk, wool, or shiny synthetic garments, iron them inside out. For shiny velvet, iron in one direction, following the grain, and avoid pressing the iron against the garment.

Overloading the washing machine can result in increased wrinkling of clothes. This also occurs when the spin function is operating at high speeds. Some fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry; for example, silk should always be ironed while damp.

CLEANING

1. Always unplug the device and let it cool completely before cleaning it.
2. To remove limescale buildup from the steam holes, use a cotton swab moistened with a solution of vinegar and water.
3. To avoid damaging the plate, never use sharp objects or metal utensils to scrape it.
4. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device chassis.

STORAGE
