How to install the LED light star?

Remove the packaging. Connect the cable to the power adapter, tighten the union nut. Open the lampshade, insert the LEDs from the top, close the lampshade and lock with the plastic hooks. Hang by the eyelet on a support suitable for the weight. Plug in the power adapter.

How to use the timer function?

After plugging in the product, press the Timer button (2). The button lights up. The timer turns the product on for 6 hours, then off for 18 hours, and repeats this cycle daily. To deactivate, press the button again.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No, the LEDs are not replaceable. When they reach the end of their life, the entire product must be replaced.

How to clean the light star?

First unplug the product. Clean with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use water or liquid products to avoid any risk of electric shock.

Can this light star be used outdoors?

Yes, the IP44 rating allows outdoor use, protected against water splashes. Also suitable indoors. Operating temperature from -21 °C to +40 °C.

What is the power consumption?

The total power is 3.6 W. Even when off, the power adapter consumes a very small amount of electricity as long as it is plugged in.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, the product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep the receipt. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects, but not normal wear nor damage due to misuse.

How to dispose of the light star?

Do not dispose of the product in household waste. Take it to a collection point for electronic waste. The packaging (cardboard, plastics) is recyclable.

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the product (220-240 V~).
Before connecting the product to the mains you should always check the product and the mains adapter for any damage.
Never use the product if you discover that it is damaged in any way.
This products external flexible tube is non-replaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged you must dispose of the entire product.
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Only use the product with the supplied mains adapter for the type (Model No. JT-DC4.5V3.6W-H4-IP44); all warranty claims will otherwise expire.
Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them.
Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.

Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.

Always unplug the mains adapter from the socket before installation, dismantling or cleaning.
Never touch the product's plug or the product itself with wet hands.
The product must not be electrically connected to another set of lights.
If the product is not in use for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect them from the power supply.

Please note that the mains adapter continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is turned off as long as the mains adapter is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the socket.

The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.

Use

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Insert the plug on end of the product into the socket of the mains adapter 3. Please screw down the connecting nut 4 clockwise.
Unfold the lamp shade 5 gently and leave a gap.
Insert the Lef from above into the lamp shade 5 (see Fig. A-D).
Close the lamp shade completely, so that the shape of star form.
Insert the two plastic holes into small holes beside the opening and twist 90 degree to lock the lamp shade 5.
Use the eye to hang up the product. Note: The hang up location should be appropriate for the weight of the product.
insert the mains adapter 3 into the mains socket.
The light is switched on.
Pull the mains adapter out of the mains socket to switch off the light set 1.

- Timerfunction

To switch on the timer function, press the timer button 2 after the product is connected to the socket of power supply. The timer button 2 will light up when the timer function is activated.
The product lights glow permanently for 6 hours and will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again at its designated turn on time for 6 hours followed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.
To switch off the timer function, press the timer button 2 again and the light of the timer but- ton 2 will be turned off.

- Cleaning and care

CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! First pull the mains adapter 3 out of the mains socket.

For reasons of electrical safety the product must never be cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water.

Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product.
Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
