- Before beginning cleaning, make sure that the appliance is switched off and that it is the power adaptor is unplugged. The appliance should be completely coo- led down - this can take up to 60 minutes after use.
- Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh or ab- rasive cleaning agents, scouring pads, alcohol or acetone.
- Hard tap water can leave lime scale deposits in the vaporiser. In this case we re- commend: – to de-scale the humidifier weekly with SOLIPOL Liquid De-scaler – to pour away the water in the bottle and the vaporiser after use and to fill up the bottle with fresh tap water before each new usage.
- To de-scale, put 10 ml of a mixture of SOLIPOL Liquid De-scaler agent in a 1:1 ratio (1 part SOLIPOL, 1 part water) directly on the vaporiser membrane and leave it for 2 to 5 minutes. With a soft toothbrush gently remove the lime scale and pour the solution. Rinse using fresh tap water and pour this away.
