SGRBI 500 A1 Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance. You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications specified. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner. Intended use This appliance is intended for massaging and cleansing human facial skin. This appliance is intended solely for personal use in the private sphere, it is not to be used for medical or commercial applications and it cannot substitute for medical treatment. The appliance is designed for use in dry indoor rooms. It is not intended for use in the medical/therapeutic or commercial fields. WARNING Danger if not used as intended! Failure to use the appliance for its intended purpose and/or any other type of use can be hazardous. ► Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. ► Observe the procedures described in these operating instructions. ► Only charge the appliance with the supplied mains adapter ZD5C050050EUE. ► The appliance should be connected only to correctly in- stalled and earthed power sockets. Ensure that the rating of the local power supply tallies completely with the details given on the rating plate of the appliance. ► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged. ► Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces. ► Do not perform any repairs to the appliance. All repairs must be performed by our Customer Service Unit or by a qualified specialist technician. ► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you clean the appliance. ► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.GB

RISK OF INJURY! ► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote control system to operate the appliance. ► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the poten- tial risks. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised. ► Never use the appliance if you have injuries, inflammations, eczema or other skin irritations on your face. ► Stop treatment with the appliance IMMEDIATELY if you feel it to be uncomfortable or painful. SGRBI 500 A1 Information on the appliance This appliance is intended for massaging and cleansing facial skin. The vibrating movements by the brushes cleanse the skin, remove dander and prepare the skin optimally for subsequently applied skin care products. This will enhance your overall complexion, while improving blood circulation through the skin. NOTE ► If you wish to use the appliance for removing make-up as well, we recommend a preliminary cleansing with make-up removal products. Charging NOTE ► Charge the appliance for about 15 hours before the first use. This also applies even if the LED display 2 already indicates a full battery by a permanent green light. ► The appliance operating time with fully charged battery is approx. 40 minutes.
1) Insert the connector plug w into the socket 8 on the base of the charger 4.
2) Lead the cable through the cable duct so that the charger 4 can stand level

4) Plug the mains adapter e into a power socket.
5) Place the hand unit 3 in the recess on the charger 4.
The LED display 2 flashes red as soon as the charging starts. Once the appliance is fully charged, the LED display 2 shows a permanent green light. NOTE ► As this appliance works with induction charging, there are no contacts on either the hand unit 3 or charger 4 that need to contact each other for the appliance to charge.GB
IE │ 27 ■ SGRBI 500 A1 Use Brush heads 3 brush heads are supplied with this appliance: 2 x brush attachment “normal” (pink) 7/9 - for normal skin – Ideal for large skin areas such as the forehead and cheeks. 1 x brush attachment “sensitive” (white) 0 - for sensitive skin – Ideal for sensitive skin or to accustom the skin to treatment with the facial brush. The brush attachment “sensitive” 0 is especially suitable for use with skin care products. NOTE ► Always use the white brush attachment "sensitive" 0 if you have sensitive skin. If this nevertheless results in skin irritation or an unpleasant feeling, stop the treatment immediately and do not use the appliance again. ■ To insert a brush attachment 7/9/0 on the hand unit, press it firmly onto the drive head 5 so that the fastening clips 6 engage on the drive head 5. ■ To remove a brush attachment 7/9/0 from the drive head 5, pull it off with a titling movement.■ 28 │ GB

IE │ 29 ■ SGRBI 500 A1 Using the appliance Without skin care products WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! ► Always avoid the eye area during use! It is very sensitive. Use of the appliance without any skin care products has a massaging effect and so promotes blood circulation through the skin.
1) Select the appropriate brush attachment 7/0 (see section “Brush heads”)
and insert it onto the drive head 5.
2) Moisten your face as well as the brush attachment 7/0 with warm water.
3) Place the brush attachment 7/0 gently on the area of the skin to be

6) Rinse the brush attachments 7/0 thoroughly with clean water after each

SGRBI 500 A1 With skin care products WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! ► Always avoid the eye area during use! It is very sensitive. Use of the appliance with various skin cleansing and skin care products is ideal for thorough cleansing or for removing make-up.
1) Select the appropriate brush attachment 7/0 (see section “Brush heads”)
and insert it onto the drive head 5.
2) If you wish to remove make-up, we recommend using make-up remover
beforehand. WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! ► Remove eye make-up completely with conventional eye make-up remover! Do not touch the eyes with the brush attachment 7/0! It is very sensitive.
3) Apply the desired skin care / peeling cream / etc. onto the skin.
4) Moisten the brush attachment 7/0 with warm water.
5) Place the brush attachment 7/0 gently on the desired area of the skin.
6) Press programme button 1 as often as required until you reach the desired
programme (see section “Programmes”).
7) Move the brush attachment 7/0 over the skin with circling movements:
– Each cheek: 20 - 30 seconds – Forehead: 20 - 30 seconds – Nose and chin: together 20 - 30 seconds After 1 minute operating time, the appliance will switch off automatically. 8) Rinse your face with clean water and then dry it.
9) If required, now apply some care cream onto your face.
10) Rinse the brush attachments 7/0 thoroughly with clean water after each
use. Allow them to dry in the air afterwards. NOTE ► For reasons of hygiene, we recommend replacing the brush attachments regularly, at the latest however when the brushes are bent outwards. A re- placement brush attachment "normal" (pink) 9 is included in the package contents. Further replacement brush attachments 7/0 are available from our Service department (see section "Ordering replacement parts")GB
► Before cleaning the charger 4, always disconnect the mains adapter e from the power socket. CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE! ► Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage the surfaces. ■ Wipe the charger 4 and hand unit 3 with a damp cloth. If necessary, add a little detergent to the cloth and wipe the appliance off afterwards with a cloth dampened with clear water. ■ Wipe off the mains adapter e with the power cable using a damp cloth. Make sure the mains adapter e has completely dried off before the next use. ■ Clean the brush attachments 7/9/0 with warm water and a mild soap. Rinse off the soap residues thoroughly and allow the brush attachments 7/9/0 to dry in the air. CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE! ► Do not use a hair dryer to dry the brushes! These can be damaged by heat from the hair dryer as they are made of synthetic material! ■ Rinse the travel case q in warm water using a mild detergent.■ 32 │ GB
SGRBI 500 A1 Storage ■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning”. ■ Allow it to dry in the air afterwards. ■ Store the appliance in a clean and dust-free place. ■ You can keep the hand unit 3, plus 2 brush heads 7/0 in the travel case q or stow it securely in bags if you wish to transport it. Disposal of the appliance Never dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU. Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal facility or your municipal waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt. NOTE ► The integrated rechargeable battery in this appliance cannot be removed for disposal. Mains adapter disposal Do not dispose of the mains adapter in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU. SGRBI 500 A1 Kompernass Handels GmbH warranty Dear Customer, This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below. Warranty conditions The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase. If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence. If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the begin- ning of a new warranty period. Warranty period and statutory claims for defects The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed.
