1. About these Operat-

ing Instructions Read these Operating Instructions carefully and comply with the information provided in them. This will ensure that your device works reliably and has a long service life. Always keep these Operating Instructions close to hand. 3.1. Unauthorised persons Keep the device and its accessories out of the reach of children. These devices can be used by children aged 8years and above, by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people who lack experience or knowledge, if proper supervision is provided, and these people have been instructed in how to use the devices safely and have fully understood the possible dangers.48 Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Do not allow children to clean the device or perform maintenance tasks on it unless they are aged 8years or older, and properly supervised. Keep the device out of reach of children under the age of 8.DE

2) Charging contacts (rear)

7.1. Charging the device Before using the tness tracker for the rst time, connect it to the charging cable as illustrated. Connect the USB plug on the charging cable to a USB power supply unit.54 7.2. Putting/switching the device on Download the associated tness tracker app, Medion Fitness, free of charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Place the tness tracker around your wrist and fasten it. PLEASE NOTE! The tness tracker should not be too tight or too loose for your wrist. Press and hold the Start button until the display lights up. Press the button to con rm the connection to the app on your smart tness band.DE

7.3. Fitness app Alternatively, use the QR code printed below to download the app automatically. Apple App Store/ Google Play Store56 7.4. Connecting the device via Bluetooth® Start the tness app. The app now displays a list of all the smart tness bands in your area. Select your smart tness band (E1000) from this list. The Smartcircle is now displayed on your smart tness band for 10 seconds. During these 10 seconds, press on the smart tness band’s touch eld to connect the devices to each other.DE

PLEASE NOTE! If you don't con rm the connection on the smart tness band within 10 seconds, you must use the app to run the connection process again. 7.5. Starting activity re- cording Press the Start button for approximately 3seconds until the smart tness band vibrates and Sport Mode is selected. In the selected mode, press the Start button twice in quick succession to start recording a sporting activity. Either touch the Touch eld or press the Start button to scroll through the following display options:58

• Distance Press the Start button for approximately 3 seconds until the smart tness band vibrates and nishes recording. 7.6. Functions You can use the tness tracker to record your tness and activity levels. In "Step counter", "Distance" and "Calorie consumption" modes, you can see how many calories you've burned or how many meters you've covered on foot. The step counter counts how many steps you've taken. Touch the touch eld or press the Start button until you select the mode you want to use. Press the Start button twice in quick succession to start recording a sporting activity.

7.6.2. Calorie consumption

The tness tracker calculates how many calories you've used, and displays the total.60 Touch the touch eld or press the Start button until you select the calorie consumption mode you want to use. Press the Start button twice in quick succession to start recording a sporting activity.

7.6.3. Distance measurement

The tness tracker shows you how far you've travelled on foot. Touch the touch eld or press the Start button until you select the distance measurement mode you want to use.DE
