Frequently Asked Questions - Modes Duo GRACO

How to install a Graco Click Connect car seat on the Modes Duo stroller?

Attach the car seat in rear or front position using the provided mounts. Ensure the fasteners click into place. See pages 14-15 of the manual.

How to fold the Modes Duo stroller?

First remove the seat or car seat. Fold the canopy, then activate the folding mechanism as shown on page 16 of the manual. The stroller folds compactly.

What is the maximum weight for each child?

Each main seat supports a child up to 15 kg. The Click Connect car seat is suitable from birth to 13 kg. The rear bench seat accepts a child up to 20 kg.

Can I use the stroller for jogging or skating?

No. The manufacturer strongly advises against using this stroller for jogging or skating.

How to clean the seat upholstery?

Wipe the upholstery with a damp cloth. For the chassis, use Marseille soap and warm water. Avoid bleach, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners.

Can I hang bags on the handle?

No. Do not hang any bags on the handle, as it may unbalance the stroller. Use the provided basket (max load 5 kg).

How to adjust the harness height?

The 5-point harness is height adjustable. Follow the instructions on page 11 of the manual to adjust the harness to the child's size.

Is the stroller suitable for newborns?

Yes, for newborns, always place the backrest in the most reclined position. You can also use the Click Connect car seat or the toddler seat in a reclined position.

How to use the brake?

The brake locks with the foot. Always engage it before installing or removing the child, and when leaving the stroller stationary. See page 13 of the manual.

What accessories are compatible with this stroller?

Use only Graco-approved accessories, such as Click Connect car seats, bag hooks, the included rain cover, etc. Using unauthorized accessories may compromise safety.

Only suitable for use with a Graco MODES Duo™ Toddler Seat or Graco® Click Connect™ Infant car seat.

Never leave your child unattended.

Always use the restraint system.

To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.

Do not let your child play with this product.

This product is not suitable for running or skating.

Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.

Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

The child should be clear of all moving parts while making adjustments.

For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed.

Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.

The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing the child.

Any load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest and/or on the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle.

For newborn babies always use the most reclined seat position.

This pushchair requires regular maintenance by the user.

Overloading, incorrect folding and the use of non-approved accessories may damage or break this pushchair.

FURTHER SAFETY INFORMATION

Do not hang shopping bags on the handle or carry shopping bags on the pushchair.

Basket: Maximum load 5 kg.

Cupholders: Maximum load 0.45 kg.

Only use accessories e.g. child seats, bag hooks, rain cover etc. that are approved by Graco.

Use only replacement parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.

Be aware of the risk to open fire and other sources of strong heat.

Use of the pushchair seats with children weighing more than 15kg will cause excessive wear and stress on this pushchair.

This pushchair is intended for two children from birth up to 15kg . With Graco Click Connect infant car seat from birth up to 13kg .

The bench seat is intended for a child from 3 years up to 20kg

The standing platform is intended for children up to 20kg

Do not allow a child to stand on the platform, facing backwards. The child must hold on the pushchair frame.

Regularly lubricate all moving parts sparingly with a light general purpose machine oil, making sure that the oil penetrates between the components that move together in use.

Check the various safety devices and use them correctly.

Pushchairs should be serviced after an extended period of no use.

If your pushchair is used by anyone unfamiliar with it, e.g. grandparents, always show them how it works.

Raincover to be used under adult supervision. Do not use raincover on a pushchair or carsea

Do not use a raincover indoors, in a hot atmosphere or near a direct heat source, baby may overheat.

Please fully remove raincover before folding the pushchair.

Do not let go of your pushchair when close to roads or trains, even with the brake ON, the draught from the vehicle or train may move a

free standing pushchair.

When ascending or descending stairs or escalators, always remove your child and fold the pushchair.

Avoid strangulation. DO NOT suspend strings from your pushchair or place items with strings on your child.

SEAT PAD. To clean seat pad, sponge clean.

WHEN USING YOUR PUSHCHAIR at the beach, completely clean your pushchair afterwards to remove sand and salt from the wheel assemblies.

FROM TIME TO TIME CHECK YOUR PUSHCHAIR for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching. Replace or repair the parts as needed.

DISCONTINUE USING YOUR PUSHCHAIR should it become damaged or broken.

TO CLEAN PUSHCHAIR FRAME, use only household soap or detergent and warm water. NO BLEACH, SPIRIT OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS. Allow to dry before storing.

To clean raincover hand wash. DO NOT BLEACH.

EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO THE SUN could cause premature fading of pushchair plastic and fabric.
