Safety precautions and proper use
Please read the entire manual before using this appliance.
DANGER! / CAUTION!
Failure to follow safety recommendations may result in injury

Make sure your hands are dry before you touch the plug or turn the appliance on.
Always use the toaster on a stable and dry surface.
Always remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning or when the appliance is not in use.
- Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning and storing it away.
Check the power cord regularly to ensure that there is no signs of damage.
In the event of any damage, return the appliance for repairs.
In the event of a malfunction or any damage, return the appliance to the service centre for inspection, repairs or adjustments, as this requires special tools.
If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid a hazard it should be replaced by the manufacturer or by a specialised service centre or by a qualified person.
The appliance should be repaired by trained staff only. Improper repair may result in a serious hazard to the user. In case of defects, please contact a qualified service centre.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher when the appliance is operating.
Do not touch the hot surface of the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Never immerse any part of the toaster or its power cord or plug in water or other liquid.
Never use a malfunctioning or damaged appliance or with a damaged power cord or plug.
The appliance generates heat during operation. Take appropriate precautions to prevent the risk of burns, fire, injury or damage to nearby objects caused by contact with the outer surfaces during use or cooling.
Never add any foodstuffs to bread or apply spreads on bread before toasting, as this may result in electric shock or fire.
Only use the appliance indoors at room temperature and up to 2000 m above sea level.

Before using the toaster for the first time remove any stickers or packaging material.
Allow sufficient space above and on the sides of the toaster to allow free airflow. Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with curtains, wallpaper, clothing, towels or other flammable materials. Do not use under cabinets or curtains.
Caution is required when the appliance is used on surfaces sensitive to heat - use heat insulating pad. Bread may catch fire, so do not use the toaster near or under flammable materials such as curtails.
Always use the toaster with bread crumb tray in place.
Do not allow the crumbs to accumulate. Regularly clean the crumb tray to prevent the risk of fire..
Always connect the appliance to the power outlet (alternating current only) equipped with a grounding prong, with voltage matching that indicated on the name plate.
The appliance is not designed to operate with external timers or separate remote control system.
When in use do not leave unattended, as bread may catch fire.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, touch hot surfaces or allow it to get tangled.
Never place the appliance on or near gas or electric burner or where it could come into contact with the hot oven or microwave oven.
Never cover the appliance when it is plugged in or hot. Never toast bread containing sugar, jam or other additives.
Do not use harsh, abrasive or caustic cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
TIP Product information and directions for use

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Before toasting for first time, run the toaster twice without bread at maximum heating level. This will eliminate the smell of a "new" appliance.
When you use the toaster for the first time, the heating elements emit a smell of burning as they get become. This is not a malfunction of the product and poses no danger. The smell should go away after repeated use.

Operate the appliance
- Place the toaster on a dry and flat surface, away from potential sources of heat (hot plates, ovens, hobs, etc.).
- Plug in the appliance.
The display shows the standard toasting time of 2:30 min.

1 Place the bread on the toaster grill.
Make sure that the bread crumb tray is in place.

2 Set the toasting time using the and buttons.
Press extend the toasting time by 15 seconds. The maximum toasting time is 5 minutes.

Press to reduce the toasting time by 15 seconds. The minimum toasting time is 15 seconds.

Press and hold buttons to adjust the toasting time faster.

Press the ON button to start toasting.
The display will show the remaining.
toasting time.

When the bread is sufficiently browned, the toasting cycle may be stopped at any time by pressing the OFF button.

Once the toasting time has elapsed you will hear 5 beeps.
Once toasting is complete, the last time setting will be shown.

- Remove the toasts, be careful not to touch any hot surface.
Additional Features
DEFROST
1 Place the frozen bread on the toaster grill.
2 Press The display will show and defrost time (1:30 min).
The defrosting time cannot be adjusted.

3 Press ON to start defrosting. The display will show the remaining defrosting time.
4 Once the defrosting time has elapsed you will hear 5 beeps.
After defrosting the appliance will enter standby mode.

Press OFF To stop defrosting ahead of time.

Notes for toasting
Toasting is a combination of bread roasting and drying. Bread water content may vary leading to different.
toasting results.
- Reduce toasting time for dry bread.
Use longer toasting time for fresh or wheat bread. - Bread with a very uneven surface will require a longer, toasting time.
- Toasting thicker pieces of bread will take longer as more water must evaporate before the bread can brown. Very thick pieces may require two toasting cycles.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, always switch off the toaster, pull out the plug from the socket and wait until it cools down completely.
To remove the bread crumbs from the toaster, remove the bread crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Empty it and place it in the same position as previously.
Do not use the toaster without bread crumb tray in place.

3 To remove the bread crumbs from inside of the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and gently shake the bread crumbs out.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean and wipe dry the exterior surfaces.
Do not allow excessive accumulation of bread crumbs in the tray. Bread crumb tray should be cleaned regularly.

Disposal
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. Our goods come in optimised packaging.
