SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toas- ter near or below combustible material, such as curtains. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced phy- sical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex- perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the ha- zards involved.12 Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by chil- dren unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of chil- dren less than 8 years. This appliance is intended to be used in household. It is not intended to be used in applications such as: - Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments. - Farm houses. - By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments. - Bed and breakfast type environments. Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remo- te-control system. Proceed according to maintenance and cleaning section of this manual for cleaning. This appliance is intended for use at a maximum altitude of 2000m above sea level. IMPORTANT WARNINGS Any incorrect use or improper handling of the product shall render the warranty null and void. Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label. The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use. Do not use the device, or connect and disconnect to the supply mains with the hands and / or feet wet. Do not pull on the connection cord in order to unplug it or use it as a handle. Unplug the product immediately from the mains in the event of any breakdown or damage and contact an official technical support service. In order to prevent any risk of danger, do not open the device. Only qualified technical personnel from the brand’s Official technical support service may carry out repairs or procedures on the device.13 B&B TRENDS SL. disclaims all liability for damages that may occur to people, animals or objects, for the non-observance of these warnings.

Before using the appliance for first time remove all packaging materials and any transport safety devices. Confirm that all accessories mentioned have been supplied and clean the toaster with a damp cloth. Make sure that there is enough space between the toaster and the wall or other applian- ces, as the toaster will become hot during operation, and connect the appliance to the mains supply by lead cable. Before using the toaster for the first time, you will have to perform a toasting process wi- thout bread. Press the toast levers on both toaster parts down until they latch into place. When the toasting is finished, the toast levers automatically jump up. You may now start toasting bread. OPERATION

1. Prepare the toaster and put the slices of bread into the slots of toast chamber.

2. Push the toast levers down until they latch into place. All indicator lights up and the

toasting process starts. The LCD display screen of the digital tube only shows the toasting grade. Press +/- to select the toasting grade (1 to 7). If no other command occurs in 3 se- conds, the toasting grade key is automatically confirmed with light on. The selected function key stays on after 3 seconds of flashing, The remaining function keys go out, but the stop function key and the +/- function key remain on. Then you can select the desired toasting grade using the roasting grade selector. The ad- justment is continuous, corresponding level 1 to light toasting and level 7 to dark toasting. The toast will be golden brown when you adjust the selector to a medium toasting grade. You may interrupt the toasting process at any time pushing the function key “Stop”. When the selected toasting grade is achieved, the bread is ejected automatically. The appliance will be shut off. We recommend the following toast darkness settings: - Light for bread from the refrigerator or thin frozen bread slices. - Medium for frozen waffles - Dark for thicker frozen bread slices and thick toast slices. Allow the unit to cool before putting it back in place. CANCEL: If the toasting process is expected to stop. REHEAT: Allows you to reheat already toasted bread or toast bread again, bread that is not sufficiently toasted within a short time without changing the toasting intensity. DEFROST: Allows you to toast bread that has been previously frozen. ADDITIONAL EJECTION FUNCTION The appliance includes an additional ejection function that allows you to eject the toast more conveniently. This is done by moving the toasting lever upwards.14

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning. Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the electricity su- pply. Unplug the appliance from the mains. Do not immerse the appliance and power cord in water or other liquids and do not wash them in the dishwasher. Wipe the toaster with a damp cloth and a little dishwashing liquid. Do not use harsh clea- ners, wire cloths, metal objects, hot cleaners or disinfectants as they may damage the appliance. To remove stuck bread slices, unplug the toaster from the drawer, turn it over and shake it gently. Never attempt to remove stuck bread slices with sharp or pointed tools or cutlery. Regularly remove crumbs and small pieces of bread from the crumb tray. This is done by pulling the crumb tray sideways all the way out and emptying it. Wipe the crumb tray with a damp cloth and then carefully dry it and push it back into the appliance. The appliance must be completely dry before further use. Do not dispose of this product in the trash, but take it to the nearest electrical and electronic waste collection center to your home.
