Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. - Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded. - Do not operate outdoors. - This product is exclusively designed for household use and similar uses. - If the door or door seals are damaged, the product must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person. - Technical service and reparations that involve cover removals or exposure to cables must always be carried out by a competent, professional and qualied person. - Use this appliance only for its intended purpose, as described in this manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance, it is not designed for industrial or laboratory use. - This appliance is intended for heating beverages and food. sponges, wet clothes and similar items may involve risk of injury, ignition or re. - Heating beverages may cause them to boil. For this reason, precautions must be taken when handling the container. - The contents of bottles and jars of baby food should be swirled or shaken and the temperature should be checked before consumption to avoid burns. - Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwaves, since they may explode even after microwave heating has ended. - You should not heat liquids or other food in sealed or closed containers as they are likely to explode. - Do not operate the microwave when empty. - This microwave is not intended to be built-in or installed in furniture, it must be freely positioned ensuring the following separation distances:

4. If you have any door, it must stay open while it is

being used. - Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug or if it is not operating properly. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger. - You must be careful to ensure that the rotary plate does not shift when the containers are removed from the appliance. - Only use utensils that are suitable for microwaves. Make sure utensils do not touch the interior walls during operation. - Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. - Do not attempt to deep-fry in this oven. - In order to reduce re risk: a. b. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing them inside the microwave. c. The microwave should be watched when heating food in plastic or paper containers. - In case of smoke or re inside the device, keep the door closed, turn the product off and disconnect it from the power supply. - In order to prevent the glass tray from breaking, do not place hot foods, hot utensils, frozen foods or frozen utensils on it. - After operating, the container is likely to be very hot. Use gloves in order to avoid burns and injuries. - The device must be cleaned regularly and you must remove any food remains. You must clean the door sealings, cavities and adjacent parts of the microwave as indicated in the cleaning and maintenance section. - The device cannot be cleaned with steam. - Failure to maintain the microwave in terms of cleaning could lead to deterioration of the surface and could adversely affect the shelf life of the device and lead to a dangerous situation. - This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. However, the combined mode should not be used by children, due to the temperatures generated. - Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children. - When the device is being used in combined mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision, due to theGRANDHEAT 3120/GRANDHEAT 3110

temperatures generated. - Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8. - This product is a Group 2 Class B ISM equipment. The denition of Group 2 which contains all ISM (Industrial, Scientic and Medical) equipment in which radio-frequency energy is intentionally generated and/or used in the form of electromagnetic radiation for the treatment of material, and spark erosion equipment. Class B equipment is suitable for domestic use and in establishments directly connected to a low voltage power supply network, which supplies buildings used for domestic purpose. - You should not use metallic containers for food and beverages. - This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. - It is important to use materials and containers which are suitable and safe for microwave cooking. - Take the product out of the box. If the microwave has a protective lm, tear it off before starting operation. Check carefully if there is any damage, and if there is, immediately notify the Technical Support Service of Cecotec. - The product must be placed on a at, stable and dry place and kept away from corrosive materials, heat and humidity, such as gas burners or water. - The product must be sufciently ventilated and must therefore be placed at least 85 cm above the ground. You must ensure a distance of at least 30 cm on top and at least 20 cm between the device and any adjacent wall. Behind the device, leave 10 cm. - The product must be placed, at least, at 5 m from the TV, Radio or antenna. - The product must be placed in such way that the plug is accessible and must ensure an effective grounding in case of leakage in order to avoid electric shocks. - The microwave door must be closed in order to operate. - In case there is any manufacturing rests in the microwave cavity or on the heating elements, leave the microwave open to ensure good ventilation. In such case, it is recommended to heat a glass of water at high power for several times. Warning Do not try to remove the mica plate. This component is essential for the proper functioning of the device. This plate must be clean to ensure its proper operation.GRANDHEAT 3120/GRANDHEAT 3110

- Connect appliance to power outlet. Before connecting it, make sure the timer is set on Zero position. (OFF) - Do not block the microwave ventilation screen. - Open the door by pulling it and the light will automatically turn on. - Place the food on the rotary plate and close the door. Food must be placed on a container, never directly on the rotary plate. - Select the power level by turning the power knob (next, there is an explanation for every level). - Set the timer by turning the knob to the desired time. - Once the timer is set the microwave will start operating and the interior light will turn on. If pausing is needed during operation, open the door at any time. Once the door is closed again, the product will start operating again. - When the timer stops, a bell will ring and the interior light will automatically turn off. If food is removed from the microwave before the bell rings, make sure you put the timer back to the zero position in order to avoid it from operating empty. Note The device light will automatically turn on when opening the door and when it is operating. When the door is closed and the device is not being used, the light will be off. Warning When removing food from the microwave, make sure the timer is in the 0 position, as, if not, the microwave could be used without food on its inside and this could damage the internal components. Grill 100% Grill - - For the Defrost function, the microwave has a default setting according to the weight of the food to be defrosted. - Around the minutes you will see a continuous line with different numbers, which corresponds to the weight of the food to be defrosted. (Fig. 4) - Next, there is a table with the recommended default setting. Food weight Defrosting time

ENGLISH - When nished, the device will emit a sound indicating the end of the cooking process and the timer will return to the initial position.

- Food arrangement: Place the thickest food parts towards the edge of the glass tray. If possible, do not overlap food. - Watch cooking time: Cook for the shortest amount of time at rst, and add more minutes in case it is necessary. Over-cooking may result in smoke and burns. - Cover food while cooking: Covering the food you are going to cook avoids spattering and allows for a more even cooking. - Flip or stir food once during the cooking process. - Respect pre-heating time. Pre-heating time specied on the food’s label must not be exceeded.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning The device, as well as food rests, must be cleaned and removed regularly. Lack of maintenance of the microwave may affect the mica plate and could damage the microwave. - Disconnect the power cord from the wall socket before cleaning. Do not immerse the product in water or any other uid during cleaning. - Failure to maintain the product in clean conditions could lead to surface deterioration and could adversely affect the product’s shelf life, resulting in possible hazard. - Never use strong detergents, abrasive powder or metal brush to clean any part of the product. - Do not remove the wave guide. - When the microwave has been used for a long time, some strong odours may arise from inside. To eliminate these odours, follow one of the below methods:

1. Fill a 300-ml cup with water and add some lemon slices. Place it inside the microwave

and heat it at high power for 5 minutes.

2. Place a cup of red tea inside the microwaves and heat it at high power for 2 or 3

3. Use a dampened soft cloth to clean enclosures, door, interior walls and the door

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) species that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

8. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual. The warranty will not cover the following situations: - The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer. - If the product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired by persons not authorised byGRANDHEAT 3120/GRANDHEAT 3110

ENGLISH the Cecotec ofcial Technical Support Service. - Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use. The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
