How to activate the cooling effect of the vest?

Soak the vest in cold water, wring it out slightly, then put it on your dog. The effect occurs through evaporation. Repeat if necessary.

How to choose the right size for my dog?

Measure your dog's chest girth. Size S fits 56-69 cm, M for 69-81 cm, L for 81-91 cm. Make sure there is a four-finger gap under the belly and the dog can move its front legs freely.

Can the vest be too tight?

Yes, a vest that is too tight can be uncomfortable. After putting it on, check that there is a two-finger gap between the back and the vest. If it is too large, the dog may be able to slip out of it.

Intended use

This product has been designed for private use as a cooling product for dogs with a chest circumference of approx. 56-69cm for Size S, approx. 69-81cm for Size M, and approx. 81-91cm for Size L.

• Use the product exclusively for its intended use.
• Keep both the packaging material and the product away from children.
• Check the product for damage or wear before each use. The product may be used only when in good working order and condition!
• Free the dog from the product immediately if it gets entangled.
• Take care, because even smaller dogs can be quite strong. Children and the elderly may not be able to control them.
• You are responsible at all times for keeping the dog under control.
• Consider how your dog might behave in critical situations in advance.
• You should bring your dog to heel BEFORE potentially dangerous situations arise. Watch out for other people and their animals, particularly on footpaths and when crossing bicycle paths.

• If other people or animals are nearby, the dog should be kept firmly to heel on lead and harness.

• In breeding season in particular dogs can be dangerous to wild animals. Every dog reacts differently. Behave responsibly and make sure that no one is endangered or impeded.

• If the product is fitted too tightly, this can be uncomfortable for the dog.

Use

Cooling effect

To have cooling take effect, dip the product in cold water and then wring it out before putting it on your dog. Repeat the process as needed.

The inner lining of the vest (grey) transfers the cooling to the dog while ensuring at the same time that the heat of the dog's body is exchanged and evaporates. In addition, the sunlight is reflected from the product's outer layer.

Determining the correct size (fig. A)

Choosing the right size is important for safe and comfortable use of the product.

Determine the correct size as follows:

There must be a space of a finger's width between belly and forelegs.

The size is right if the dog can move its forelegs freely.

Note: If the product is too big, the dog may use its forelegs to climb out.

Putting the product on correctly (fig. B)

1. Open the product's zip fastener.
2. Lead the product over your dog's front paws.
3. Close the zip fastener on your dog's back.

Note: Make sure that the distance between back and product is two fingers wide.

Storage, cleaning

Because of the way it functions the product should be cleaned mechanically. When not in use, always store the product clean and dry at room temperature.

When lightly soiled, clean with water and then wipe dry with a cleaning cloth.

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents.

If your animal becomes ill, disinfect the product as soon as possible. You should consult a trusted vet about what sanitising and disinfecting products to use.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.

Dispose of the products and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

recycling symbol - which is meant to reflect the

DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year guarantee on this product from the date of purchase (guarantee period) in accordance with the following provisions. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear that are thus considered wear parts (e.g. batteries) or fragile parts such as switches, rechargeable batteries, or parts made of glass.

Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed, unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances.
