Frequently Asked Questions - PDV9060B PROGRESS

How to install the PDV9060B hood correctly?
The minimum distance between the cooking surface and the hood must be 650 mm. The exhaust duct must have a diameter of at least 120 mm and be as short as possible. Do not connect the hood to a chimney flue used for combustion fumes (boiler, fireplace).
What is the required power supply voltage?
The hood must be plugged into a mains socket corresponding to the voltage indicated on the rating label inside the appliance. Usually it is 220-240 V. The electrical installation must include grounding.
How to use the touch controls?
The A button turns the light on/off. The Delay button activates a delayed shut-off of 5 minutes (long press). The B, C, D buttons correspond to speeds 1, 2 and 3. A second press on D activates the timed intensive mode for 6 minutes.
How often should filters be cleaned or replaced?
The grease filters must be cleaned every 2 months (or more often with heavy use); they are dishwasher safe. The charcoal filter is not washable and must be replaced every 4 months.
What to do in case of persistent odors?
Check the condition of the grease filters and charcoal filter. Clean or replace them if necessary. Ensure the exhaust duct is not blocked and the hood is used at the appropriate speed. Activate the Delay function to eliminate residual odors.
How to replace the light bulb?
Replacement of the lighting must be carried out by the after-sales service. Contact the manufacturer or an authorized technician to obtain a replacement bulb and install it.
Can I use the hood with a gas cooktop?
Yes, but respect a minimum distance between the cooktop and the hood. If the cooktop instructions specify a distance greater than 650 mm, follow that indication. Also ensure sufficient ventilation of the room.
What does the Delay function mean?
The Delay function allows the hood to continue operating for 5 minutes after the motor stops. Activate it by pressing and holding the Delay button. The speed icon blinks to indicate it is active.
How to clean the hood?
Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the appliance. Use a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products. Grease filters can be washed in the dishwasher.
What to do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. Have the cord replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized after-sales service to avoid any risk of electric shock.
