●Safetysystem
Note: The electric underblanket is fitted with a safety system. Its electronic sensor system prevents the electric underblanket from overheating over its full area by switching it off automatically in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches the electric underblanket off automatically due to a fault, then the function indicator 2 on the control unit 1 ceases to illuminate, even if the electric underblanket is switched on.
☐ Please note that, for safety reasons, the electric underblanket must not be used in the event of a fault and must be sent to the service centre address given below.
- Special characteristics
This electric underblanket has been provided with an especially soft and hygienic soft nonwoven fabric. The textiles used in this electric underblanket meet the high human ecological safety requirements of the Öko-Tex Standard 100 as proven in tests at the Hohenstein Research Institute.
● Preparations for use
- Placing the electric underblanket
☐ Starting at the foot end, spread out the electric underblanket (top, see Fig. B) over the mattress. The plug-in connector 5 on the electric underblanket should be towards the head end (see Fig. C).
☐ First connect the control unit 1 to the electric underblanket by plugging the two parts of the plug-in connector 5 together (see Fig. D).

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT AND/OR OTHER PROPERTY! Please be sure
- the plug-in connector and the cable do not get pinched on the bedframe.
- the cable does not get wedged between the bedframe and the mattress.
- the cable does not get severely kinked. Otherwise the plug-in connector and the cable could be damaged.
☐ Then place the bottom sheet as usual over the electric underblanket, so that the electric underblanket lies between the mattress and the bottom sheet.
☐ Ensure that the electric underblanket is completely flat and that it does not become drawn together or folded during use.
Before use on an adjustable bed, verify the electric underblanket and the cables will not be pinched in the hinges, for example, or pushed together.
☐ Switch the electric underblanket on approximately 30 minutes before going to bed and cover it with the top sheet and other bedding. By doing this you will keep all the heat in.
- Switching on/off/Selecting the temperature
Switching on:
☐ Using the temperature setting switch 3 on the control unit 1, set the temperature to setting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to switch on the electric underblanket. The function indicator 2 illuminates.
Switching off:
☐ Using the temperature setting switch 3 on the control unit 1, set the temperature to setting 0 to switch off the electric underblanket. The function indicator 2 ceases to illuminate.
Selecting the temperature:
☐ This electric underblanket has a rapid heat-up feature. Set the control unit to the highest temperature setting (setting 6). This will cause the electric underblanket to warm up quickly.
WARNING! When operating the electric underblanket for several hours, we recommend setting the control unit to the lowest temperature to prevent the body from overheating, potentially resulting in burns to the skin or heat stroke.
•Temperaturelevels
☐ Using the temperature setting switch 3 on the control unit 1, set the temperature to the desired temperature setting (see Fig. A).
Setting 0: Off
Setting 1: Minimum heat
Settings 2-5: Customised heat
Setting 6: Maximum heat
The foot zone is the warmest part of the electric underblanket.
Note: This electric underblanket has overheating protection. After a period of approx. 3 hours at temperature settings 5 or 6, the electric underblanket automatically switches down to setting 4.
- Selecting the automatic switch-off time
☐ Using the switch-off time setting switch 4 on the control unit 1, set the desired switch-off time. The switch-off time can be set to 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours. After the expiry of the set switch-off time, the electric underblanket no longer provides heat and the function indicator 2 starts to flash.
☐ To heat up the electric underblanket again, first set the temperature setting switch 3 to setting 0 and then choose the desired temperature setting.
If the electric underblanket is no longer being used after the timer expires:
- switch off the electric underblanket (setting 0),

- disconnect the plug-in connection 5, thus the control unit 1, from the electric underblanket.
