Frequently Asked Questions - SHBR 100 C2 SILVERCREST

How do I turn on and adjust the temperature of the mattress pad?
To turn on the mattress pad, set the controller to a level from 1 to 6. The operation indicator lights up. To turn off, set the controller to 0. Use level 6 for quick heating, then reduce to a lower level (1 to 5) for extended use.
How long does it take for the mattress pad to heat up?
The mattress pad has quick heating: it reaches its temperature in about 10 minutes. To speed up, first set level 6, then adjust as needed.
Does the mattress pad turn off automatically?
Yes, the mattress pad turns off automatically after 90 minutes. The operation indicator then starts blinking. To reactivate, first set to 0, wait 5 seconds, then select the desired level.
Can I machine wash the mattress pad?
Yes, the mattress pad can be machine washed at 30 °C on a very delicate cycle. Use a low-temperature detergent. Do not wash it more than 10 times over its entire lifespan. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, and do not dry clean.
How do I clean the controller?
Always unplug the controller before cleaning. Use a dry, lint-free cloth. Never immerse the controller in water. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with a little mild dish soap is suitable.
What should I do if the operation indicator blinks?
The blinking indicates that the automatic shut-off has been activated after 90 minutes. To reuse the mattress pad, set the controller to 0, wait 5 seconds, then select the desired level again. If the blinking persists without reason, the safety system may have triggered; in that case, the product must no longer be used and should be sent to customer service.
Can I use this mattress pad if I have a pacemaker?
The electromagnetic fields emitted are below the limits (max. electric field 5000 V/m, max. magnetic field 80 A/m, max. flux density 0.1 mT). However, consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before use.
Is the mattress pad suitable for children?
No, this mattress pad is not suitable for children 0 to 3 years (risk of burns). For ages 3-8, it may only be used if the controller is preset by an adult. From 8 years, under supervision. Not suitable for persons insensitive to heat or dependent.
How do I store the mattress pad?
Let the mattress pad cool down before storing. Unplug the controller. Store it in its original packaging in a dry place, without placing objects on top to avoid creases.
What to do in case of a malfunction of the mattress pad?
If the safety system triggers an automatic shut-off, the indicator goes out and the mattress pad can no longer be used. Return it to customer service at the address indicated (NU Service GmbH, Lessingstraße 10b, 89231 Neu-Ulm, Germany). Contact customer service at 080 53 400 06 (France) or 0800 200 510 (Switzerland).
