Frequently Asked Questions - OHA 103R OK

How to use the appliance for the first time?
Remove the hot air brush and hot air comb, rinse them under running water. Dry them thoroughly. Reattach the accessories to the appliance by aligning the arrows and screwing until locked. Plug in the appliance, select the speed (1 or 2) with the switch. Use on towel-dried hair for best results.
How to attach and remove accessories?
To attach, align the arrow on the accessory with the one on the shaft, then screw until locked. To remove, press the release button, turn the accessory in the direction of the arrow, then lift it off. Caution: accessories are hot after use, allow to cool.
Can I use the appliance on wet hair?
It is recommended to use the appliance on towel-dried hair, not completely wet. First dry your hair with a towel for optimal efficiency and to prevent burns.
Which speed should I choose?
Speed 1 (low) is ideal for fine or fragile hair. Speed 2 (high) is suitable for thick hair or for faster drying/straightening.
What to do if the appliance does not heat up?
Check that the appliance is plugged in and the switch is set to 1 or 2. If the indicator does not light up, the issue may be with the outlet or the appliance. Do not attempt to repair yourself, contact qualified service.
How to clean the appliance?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the body with a slightly damp soft cloth. For the accessories, remove them and rinse under running water. Never immerse the appliance in water and do not use abrasive products.
The appliance turns off by itself, why?
The appliance has overheating protection: if the internal temperature becomes too high, it automatically shuts off. Unplug it, let it cool completely (about 15 minutes), then check that the air vents are not blocked.
Can I use the appliance in the bathroom?
Yes, but with caution. Never use it near a bathtub, sink, or other containers with water. Unplug it after each use in a bathroom, because even when turned off, proximity to water poses a risk.
How to get curls with the brush?
Take a section of slightly damp hair, wrap it around the hot air brush starting from the ends to the roots. Hold for a few seconds, then gently unwind. For best results, use a thermal setting spray before and hairspray after.
What styling products to use?
Apply a heat protection spray before use to protect hair from heat. After styling, you can use hairspray or mousse to set the style. Avoid using hairsprays or spray products while the appliance is in use.
