How to recharge the Arctis 7 headset?

Connect the provided micro-USB cable to the headset's charging port and to a USB source. The power button indicates the battery level: green (100-50%), yellow (49-20%), red (19-10%).

How to pair the headset with the transmitter?

The headset is pre-paired. If necessary, press and hold the pairing button on the transmitter for 5 seconds until the LED blinks, then on the headset (turned off), press and hold the power button for 6 seconds.

What is the battery life?

The battery life can reach up to 24 hours in normal use, depending on volume and surround sound.

The microphone does not work, what to do?

Ensure the microphone is properly extended and the mute button is not activated. In your system's sound settings, select 'Chat Arctis 7' as the default recording device.

How to use DTS X surround sound?

DTS X v2.0 surround sound is available only on Windows 7 to 10. Download and install SteelSeries Engine, then enable the option in the audio tab.

Can I use the headset with a console?

Yes, via the provided mobile/console cable (3.5mm jack). Connect it to the headset's jack and the controller. Wireless sound is not supported on console without an additional adapter.

How to clean the Airweave ear cushions?

Remove the ear cushions (they are removable) and hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap. Let dry completely before reattaching.

How to adjust the headband?

Use the Velcro strap on top of the headband to tighten or loosen the fit. You can also replace the headband with other models available at steelseries.com.

What to do if the headset does not turn on?

Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the micro-USB cable and wait a few minutes. If the indicator does not light up, contact SteelSeries support.

Is SteelSeries Engine software mandatory?

No, the headset works without software. However, Engine allows you to customize the equalizer, surround sound, and microphone settings.
