For set-up you require a Phillips head screwdriver and the hex socket screwdriver.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and any transport safeguards. Keep packaging materials away from children.
  2. Check whether all listed accessory parts are present and intact.
  3. First turn the housing over so that the lower end is up.
  4. Insert the two panels (6) on the holders. Ensure that the side that is slightly reflective points downward for optical reasons.
  5. Route the power cord through the base. Note that the plug for the electrical outlet must poke out on the underside of the base. The end of the power cord, on which the connection socket is mounted, must be threaded through the housing. Fastening the power cord with the cable clip.
  6. Carefully place the base (3) in the base cover (4) and place both the

base and base cover onto the holders (5) together.

  1. Now place the washers (2) and firmly screw all parts onto the housing with screws M 6 x 20.
  2. Turn the housing over again so that it is now right side up.
  3. Now attach the three hinges (8) on the glass plate: Screw the hinges onto the aluminium-coloured holders of the glass plate with the M 8 x 6 and M 4 x 6 screws.
  4. No you can carefully insert the glass plate into the three glass plate holders (11).
  5. Firmly screw the glass plate onto the glass plate holders with the M 6 x 16 screws.

THE IDEAL LOCATION

  7. Never place the appliance directly under an electrical outlet, and ensure that the power socket used is easily accessible at all times.
  8. Check whether the power cord is routed in such a manner that no one can stumble over it.
  9. The power cord should not touch any housing parts, this could cause the cable to melt.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR OPERATION

  1. Comply with all safety instructions and safety regulations.
  2. Ensure that you have selected a safe location.
  3. Plug the mains plug of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220-240 V ~ 50 Hz).
  4. The appliance has two switches:
  5. Switch A for the lighting (only the lighting is activated, the appliance does not heat)
  6. Switch B is for the heating mode.
  7. In switch position " - " the large heating element heats up, there is no automatic switch-off. In the switch position = " automatic switching is active. When

switching on, the small heating element is immediately active, the IR sensors are flashing. When the sensors detect movement within their measuring range, the IR sensors will be permanently illuminated and the large heating element starts to heat. The small heating element switches off. When the sensors no longer detect movement, the heating element switches off after several seconds, while the small heating element is activated automatically and the IR sensors continue to flash.

  1. Please note: The perception sensitivity of the IR sensors varies depending on the object, its colour, etc. For example if reflective material is in the vicinity (mirror, stainless steel, etc.) the perception distance can be greatly extended.
  2. Adjust the appliance as you desire, always ensure that you never get too close to the heating element, because this becomes very hot.

  3. When you no longer require the appliance, switch all switches to "0" and unplug the plug from the electrical outlet.

Switch off the appliance.

To switch off the appliance, switch all switches to the "0" position and unplug the mains plug.

Allow the appliance to cool completely.

  1. Never use any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot cleaning agents or disinfectants.
  2. Clean the glass plate with a damp cloth if necessary.
  3. You can remove dust in the appliance if you carefully hold a vacuum cleaner against the air inlet and outlet grille.
  4. Store the hot table in a dry, safe place so that it is protected from dust, shocks, heat and moisture.
  5. To protect the appliance from environmental influences, such as dust, rain, etc. you can order a practical protective cover directly from us or from your authorised dealer. The article number of the protective cover is 867405.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
