Why is my coffee too cold?

Several possible causes: the machine is not at the right temperature, the portafilter has not been preheated, the cups are cold, or the thermostat is not working properly. Preheat the portafilter and cups, and make sure the machine has reached operating temperature.

The coffee comes out too quickly, what to do?

This may be due to insufficient coffee amount, too light tamping, or coffee that is too old. Use the appropriate pod or increase the dose of ground coffee and tamp firmly with the tamper.

Water or coffee leaks between the group head and portafilter.

Check that the portafilter is properly locked and tightened. Make sure there is not too much coffee in the filter, the portafilter rim is clean, and the seal is not worn. Clean and replace if necessary.

The coffee drips, why?

This usually indicates an excessive coffee dose or too strong tamping. Reduce the amount of ground coffee and tamp moderately.

The machine does not produce steam even though the switches are on.

Check that the water tank has enough water. If the pump does not work, there may be an obstruction in the steam tube. In that case, contact after-sales service.

The machine does not turn on and the light stays off.

Make sure the power cord is properly plugged in and the socket works. If the cord is damaged, have it replaced by a professional.

How to descale the machine?

This machine is equipped with a resin filter that softens water. Follow the manual instructions to replace the filter according to water hardness (e.g., every 90 L for water at 10°F). Regular descaling is not necessary if the filter is changed regularly.

How to clean the steam wand?

After each use, wipe the wand with a damp cloth. Be careful to only touch the rubber part as the wand becomes very hot.

How to use the hot water dispenser?

Place a container under the hot water dispenser (311Y) and lift the hot water switch (320Y). The light confirms activation. Lower the switch once the desired amount is reached.

What to do if the water shortage alarm goes off?

The water shortage light (317Y) comes on and an audible alarm sounds. Fill the water tank with cold water to the indicated level. The alarm automatically turns off when the level is sufficient.
