How to charge the Corsair K63 keyboard for the first time?

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB cable to a USB 3.0 or 3.1 port on your PC. The power LED blinks green when charging and stays solid green when the battery is full. Avoid USB 2.0 ports which may slow charging.

How to connect the keyboard in wireless 2.4 GHz mode?

Turn on your PC and keyboard. Plug the wireless USB receiver into a USB port on your PC. Press the FN + F9 keys. The wireless LED turns white when the connection is established. If not, use the CUE software to start pairing mode or hold FN + F9 until the LED blinks rapidly.

How to switch to Bluetooth mode?

Power on your Bluetooth 4.0 or higher compatible device and the keyboard. Enable Bluetooth on your device, then press and hold the FN + F10 keys until the wireless LED blinks rapidly in blue. The LED becomes solid blue when connected.

What is the battery life and how to optimize it?

Battery life is approximately 15 hours with backlight on. To optimize, reduce or disable backlight brightness using the dedicated key. The keyboard has no memory effect; you can recharge at any time without waiting for a full discharge.

Is the backlight customizable?

Yes, the blue LED backlight is customizable per key via the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) software. You can create dynamic lighting effects and adjust brightness.

What does the Windows lock key do?

The Windows lock key (Win Lock) disables the Windows key by default to prevent interruptions during gaming. You can also use it to disable wireless encryption in the CUE software, which may slightly reduce latency.

How to check the battery level?

Press the FN + F11 keys. The power LED briefly displays the color corresponding to the charge level: green for charged, red for low, blinking red for critical.

Is the keyboard compatible with game consoles?

The keyboard is primarily designed for Windows and Android. It can work via Bluetooth with some compatible devices, but all functions (like CUE software) are not available on consoles.

What to do if the keyboard stops responding?

Try resetting the connection: turn the keyboard off and on using the power switch. For 2.4 GHz mode, reconnect the USB receiver and press FN + F9. If the problem persists, charge the keyboard or use wired mode by connecting the USB cable directly to the PC.

How to clean the Corsair K63 keyboard?

CHARGING THE KEYBOARD

Connect the K63 wireless keyboard to an available USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 (Type-A) port on your PC with the USB charging / data cable. The keyboard's power LED indicator will begin pulsing green to denote battery charging and will turn solid green when charging is complete.

WARNING: Connecting to a USB 2.0 port could result in reduced charging speed or malfunction.

The power LED indicator will briefly blink a color corresponding to the battery charge level when first turned on and will turn red when charging is required. The battery has no "memory effect" and should not be completely discharged before recharging to ensure it will last for hundreds of charge / discharge cycles.

NOTE: Reducing or turning off the LED backlighting via the backlight brightness key will extend battery life.

Turn on your computer and K63 wireless keyboard
Connect the USB wireless receiver to an available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port on your PC and press FN + F9 on the keyboard
The wireless LED indicator on the keyboard will turn solid white when
automatically connected.

NOTE: If the connection isn't automatic, initiate pairing mode in the CUE software and hold FN + F9 on the keyboard until the wireless LED indicator rapidly blinks white.

For the best 2.4GHz wireless performance, move the USB wireless receiver closer to the keyboard either by plugging it into a front panel USB port on your PC or by connecting it to the USB charging / data cable via the USB cable adaptor.

The K63 wireless keyboard features 128-bit AES wireless encryption that is automatically onabled and works to protect the wireless transmission of your keystrokes against eavesdropping when typing sensitive login, personal, or payment information.

The Win Lock key allows you to disable the Windows key by default, but can also be used to disable wireless encryption via an option in the CUE software for a slight reduction in latency when gaming.
