1. Proper use

Thank you for your purchase of this device.

With this massager you will be able to massage yourself or other persons.

Massage is one of the oldest known healing methods. Massages with this device can be relaxing or vitalizing and have proven effects in the treatment of sore muscles, muscle tension, circulatory problems, and fatigue.

The device is not a replacement for medical or physiotherapeutic treatment – it is only an addition to such. Please consult your physician if you are unsure whether this infrared massager is suitable for you.

This massager is not designed for medical and commercial use.

In order to be able to utilize all the benefits of your massager, please thoroughly read these instructions and observe the notes on care and safety. You will then be able to enjoy this massager for a long time.

2. Safety information

Danger

This device uses mains voltage. Therefore, the same safety regulations apply as for any other electric device.

• Operate the device only with the stated supply voltage.
• Inspect all components of the device for faultless condition prior to each start-up of the device. In the event of a defect or malfunction, switch the device off immediately and disconnect the power plug from the power network. Repairs must be performed exclusively by authorized customer service technicians. Never open the device. The individual components of this device may not be disassembled, repaired or modified.

Use the device only in dry rooms and with

a dry body - never in the bathtub, shower, above filled sinks, in pools, saunas, or outdoors.

• Disconnect the device from the power network prior to cleaning it.

When cleaning, please ensure that no liquids enter the switches and buttons and that the device is used only in an absolutely dry condition.

• Never use this device with

• electronic medical devices, e.g. pace makers, electronic life-support systems, e.g. heart/lung machines, or mobile electronic medical devices, e.g. electrocardiographs.

This device may cause malfunctions in the above-mentioned electronic medical devices.

Warnings

Consult a physician prior to use if

• you suffer from an illness (e.g. flu, varicose veins, fever, thrombosis, hepatitis, diabetes, infections, sciatica, herniated discs, or similar)
  you recover from surgerv.

• Never use the device with open wounds, burns, hematoma, swellings, or similar conditions.

• Never treat joints, the spine, head, and other sensitive body parts.

• Stop the massage if it feels painful or uncomfortable to you.

• The device may overheat if it is in continuous operation for more than 15 minutes.
• For the same reason, the device should never be used underneath pillows, blankets, or similar. Never use the device in a bed to prevent falling asleep while the device is in use.

Never operate the device in the close vicinity of heat sources.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The appliance has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.

Attention

• Ensure that all components can move freely during operation.
• Never jam the device between your body and other objects or furniture.
• Ensure that no body parts – in particular fingers – are pinched in the area of the massage head.
• Ensure that hair does not come into contact with moving parts.

Notes

• If the device is used just prior to going to bed, please remember that a massage may be revitalizing and cause sleep disorders.

3. Description of the device and operating elements

4. Operation

Ensure that the device is switched off prior to connecting the power plug.

The massage head can be rotated by 180 degrees, so that the massage area or the infrared massage area is in the massage position, as desired. In order to better reach body parts, the handle of the device can be adjusted. Simply push the locking button.

Switch the device on by pushing the switch to "Massage" or "Massage with infrared heat".

Use one or both hands to touch the device to the area of your body that is to be massaged. You may sit, stand, or lay down and massage yourself or another person. The intensity of the massage can be changed by pushing on the massager with more or less intensity. Do not massage any single body part for more than 3 minutes, at which time you should change to other body parts. A massage should not last longer than 10 to 15 minutes.

Select one of the enclosed massage attachments, as desired. They are simply attached to the massage surface. It's easier to remove the massage attachment if you use a large coin.

5. Care instructions

Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet prior to cleaning the device.

Clean only using a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents.

Never use abrasive and corrosive cleaning agents and never submerge the device in water.

Only use the device if it's completely dry.
