With this rechargeable heat belt you can provide pleasant warmth to your lumbar, back and shoulder area. While doing so you can enjoy complete freedom of movement and a customized, comfortable fit in all your activities at home and on the go. The device is intended exclusively for domestic use, not for com- mercial applications or the use in hospitals or medical offices. In order to be able to utilize all the benefits of your electric war- ming device, please thoroughly read these instructions and observe the notes on care and safety. You will then be able to enjoy this device for a long time. Please store these instructions for further use or in case you hand this device over to another person. Some basic safety information must be observed when handling electronic devices:

Always use the heat belt as described in this manual.

Never store or charge the heat belt outdoors.

Use only the original operating element of Soehnle. Using other operating units, which are not recommended by the manufacturer, may void the guarantee.

5. Start-up operation

Charging the rechargeable battery The rechargeable battery in the operating element must be char- ged for at least 3-4 hours prior to first use or after not having been used for a long time. The rechargeable heat belt is designed for 1.5 -4 hours of use. The rechargeable battery must be rechar- ged after that time. Always load the rechargeable battery at room temperature. To do this, first connect the charger to a power outlet and then connect it to the operating element. The rechargeable battery is completely charged if the green LED (1) lights up. Disconnect the charger from the power network and the operating element from the charger. Readiness for operation Connect the plug of the heat belt to the operating element and insert the rechargeable battery into in the designated pocket. Set the desired heat level (1-4) by pushing repeatedly.14

Note: This heat belt is equipped with an integrated temperature control that regulates the temperature automatically and keeps the heat at a constant level. The temperature of the heat belt cor- responds to the maximum permissible value of the applicable IEC regulation regarding user safety. The device will generate a mild heat that has no harmful effects. The electric heating pad shuts off automatically after 100 minu- tes of continuous use. In order to switch the heating pad back on, switch to the desired temperature. Attention: Please ensure that the heat belt sits loosely, i.e. some air circulates between the heat belt and your skin during use. Accumulation of heat must be prevented.

6. Cleaning and care

The rechargeable heat belt can be washed by hand or in the washing machine using the delicate cycle at 40°C (spin cycle 600 rpm).

  • The rechargeable battery cannot be washed.

7. Storage and periodic inspection

  • Do not wrinkle the product. Fold the product carefully for sto- rage.
  • Store the heat belt in a dry location when it is not in use.
  • Let the device cool off prior to folding or rolling it up.
  • Inspect the product and power cord of the charger regularly for possible signs of wear or damage.

Never place any heavy objects on top of the product as these could damage the electric wires.

LED 3 flashes: Rechargeable battery in the operating element overheated while charging or during operation. Flashing will stop after the device has cooled off; charging or operation will then continue. Note: You can speed up the cooling-off period if you remove the operating element from the bag.

10. Disposal of used electronic devices
