1.1.If the computer does not have built in Bluetooth, install a Bluetooth USB

- Optical mouse cannot work on a glass or a mirror surface. Avoid glossy surface, otherwise the mouse may not operate normally. - It is strongly recommended to operate an optical mouse on a clear surface with fine texture to obtain lower power consumption of the Agilent high illumi- nation LED. A very dark surface will cause higher power consumption. - For a better transmission distance, do not use the mouse on a metal plate or desktop. Operating on a metallic plan may cause the transmission distance shorter.

Warning: DO NOT charge non-rechargeable batteries!

3. Installation Guide

3.1. Step 1: Inserting Batteries - Remove the battery cover. - Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries (respect the polarity of the batteries). - Replace back the battery cover. - To turn on the mouse, use on the on/off switch at the bottom of the mouse 3.2. Here are a few hints in case the Bluetooth mouse cannot connect to the compu- ter, or it does not work properly: - Make sure a Bluetooth modem is installed on the computer and the Bluetooth modem is turned on. - If the mouse has been previously paired and it does not connect automatically after double clicking the left button, delete the pairing relationship and redo pairing in the computer. - Make sure that the mouse is within the effective range of less than 10 meters. - Make sure that there has been no modification in the Bluetooth utility software. If anything has been changed, try to pair again. - Make sure that the Bluetooth modem is not connected to another mouse or too many other Bluetooth peripherals as this can affect the speed of the connection. - Check the batteries and recharge or replace them if needed. - Warning: charging non-rechargeable batteries might cause explosion.
