Fit the telescopic tube to the floor brush (E) or other accessory (Fig. 3). You can adjust the length of telescopic tube by pressing its button (Fig. 4). The floor brush is ideal for the daily cleaning of carpets and hard floors. Setting with the bristles inside for cleaning carpets. Setting with the bristles outside for cleaning hard floors. The appliance is delivered with the following accessories: a crevice tool: for radiators, crevices, corners, baseboards and between cushions. an upholstery brush: for furniture, Venetian blinds, books, lamp shades and shelves

OPERATION Pull out a sufficient length of power cord and insert the plug into the power socket. A yellow mark on the power cable shows the ideal cable length. Do not extend the cable beyond the red mark. Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch. You can adjust the suction power manually with the wind force adjuster (C), or with the electronic power control switch (L). Use a low suction power for furniture and other delicate surfaces and use high suction power for fitted carpet and other floors. AFTER USE Stop the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF switch (I). Unplug the appliance from the power supply. Simply press the cable rewind button (M) to activate the cable rewind mechanism. For hygienic reasons, empty the dust container after each use if possible (see "Cleaning the dust container and the filters" section)

CLEANING THE DUST CONTAINER AND THE FILTERS The filters guarantee you fresh air when vacuum cleaning. Filters that are maintained properly will allow your appliance to keep its maximum suction power. The dirtier the filters, the weaker the suction power will be. It is necessary to clean the filters regularly to avoid operation problems. The filtration system consists of the following elements: A centrifugal filtration generated by the movement of the air in the dust container. Therefore it is necessary to empty the dust container regularly. An accordion filter that filters the smaller dust particles. A filter in the upper part of the filtration unit of the dust container. A motor protection filter inside the appliance, behind the dust container. A supplementary air filter behind the grid in the back of the appliance that filters the dust particles coming from the motor. Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any changes except under special instruction from Team International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don’t change the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.

Fax +32 2 359 95 50 Each filter should be checked, cleaned or replaced respecting the following instructions: Dust container and accordion filter When the dust container level indicator (K) turns red the dust container should absolutely be emptied. However, for hygienic reasons we advise you to empty it after each use. Take the dust container (F) out of the appliance. To do so, first remove the flexible hose (B) and then open the front cover (H) by activating its release button (J) (Fig. 5). You can now take out the dust container. Remove the filter unit from the dust container (Fig. 6) and empty the dust container (Fig. 7). If necessary, you can detach the accordion filter by holding the upper part of the filter unit with one hand and twisting the accordion filter anti-clockwise with the other hand until it is loosened. Once it is detached (Fig. 8) you can clean it in water. The filter situated in the upper part of the filter unit can also be cleaned, either by shaking it or by using water. When the upper filter is dry and back into position, and when the accordion filter is dry, you can attach the latter back onto the upper part of the unit by inserting it's pins in the opening foreseen and twisting clockwise until it is blocked. Then put the complete filter unit back in the dust container. Put the container back in the appliance correctly and close the front cover. You can now connect the flexible hose back in the connection inlet. Note: The hose might get blocked by a larger object. In this case the level indicator will be red. However this does not mean that you have to empty the dust container. Just remove the object, which blocks your tube or flexible hose, and your appliance will function properly again. Do not forget to unplug the appliance before removing the blocking object. Motor protection filter This filter is situated at the entrance of the motor inside the appliance, behind the dust container. To clean this filter, remove it and wash it in soapsuds (approximately every 3 months). Air filter From time to time also clean the air filter situated in the back of the appliance. To do so, open the grid and remove the filter, clean it and reinsert it with the grid. Only reassemble the filter when it is fully dry. NOTE: After a certain number of cleanings the filters will be damaged or impossible to get back in their initial shape. In such case, please contact the nearest customer service to obtain new filters. PRACTICAL HINTS The telescopic tube is equipped with a hook, allowing you to attach the tube the rear part of the appliance when it is in use, for instance when you want to move piece of furniture or after use when storing your appliance. The vacuum cleaner requires no other regular maintenance other than cleaning the filters and emptying the dust container as detailed here above. If you notice a loss of suction power, it is probably due to one or a combination of the following events: blocked filter, full or punctured bag or blockage in tubes. If your appliance still does not work properly after you have checked those problems, please ask a qualified electrician for advice. Copies of the I/B.
