Frequently Asked Questions - ST 25 EC TEAM

How to change the dust bag?
Unplug the vacuum cleaner. Open the top cover. Remove the full bag from its holder without folding it. Insert a new paper bag into the holder. Close the cover by pressing lightly. Check that the hose is properly connected to the bag opening.
How to clean the motor filter?
Unplug the appliance. Lift the rear grille containing the filter. Remove the filter and clean it gently (do not use water). Replace it and close the grille. It is recommended to do this every 3 months.
How to use the power control?
On the appliance there is a power control knob. Turn it to adjust the suction power according to the surface (minimum for curtains, maximum for carpets). It is recommended to set it to minimum before plugging in.
What to do if the vacuum cleaner no longer sucks properly?
First check if the dust bag is full or if there is a blockage in the hose, tube, or brush. Change the bag if necessary. Clear the blockages. Also check the condition of the filter and clean it if needed.
How to rewind the cable correctly?
Hold the cable with one hand and press the rewind pedal with the other hand. Let the cable wind gently while guiding it to avoid knots. Never force the rewind.
What accessories are included and what are they used for?
The 2-position universal brush allows switching from smooth floors (brushes extended) to carpets (brushes retracted). The round brush is for mattresses and upholstered furniture. The crevice tool, very thin, is ideal for corners and baseboards.
Can the vacuum cleaner suck up liquids?
No, absolutely not. Never vacuum liquids with this appliance. This could damage the motor and cause a short circuit. Use it only for dry waste.
How to connect and disconnect the hose?
To connect: insert the swivel sleeve of the hose into the opening at the front of the vacuum cleaner and turn to the right. To disconnect: first unplug the power cord, then turn the sleeve to the left and pull firmly.
Where can I find spare parts (bag, filters)?
Dust bags and replacement filters are available from TEAM after-sales service or from authorized dealers. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer to avoid damaging the appliance.
What to do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. Unplug it immediately. The damaged cord must be replaced by a qualified service (manufacturer or importer customer service) to avoid any danger. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
