General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. - When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from the socket.

The device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device must not be used.

Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by qualified person and with a cable of the same type.

Intended use
This appliance is intended for
• warming and frothing milk.
• preparing hot chocolate
- warming sauces
It is intended for the use in private households and similar applications such as

- for guests in hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
- in B&Bs.
It is not intended for applications in agricultural properties.
The appliance is only to be used as described in the user manual. Do not use the appliance for any commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered as not intended and may lead to damage of property or even to personal injury.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage which may occur through incorrect use.

Unpacking the appliance

Remove the packaging of the appliance.
-
Remove all packaging material such as plastic film, filler material, cable ties and box packaging.
- Check that all the parts are in the box.
i NOTE:
There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".

Instructions
Location
A skid-proof, even surface is suitable as installation location.
Electrical connection
- Ensure that your mains power corresponds with the specifications of the appliance. The specifications are printed on the type label.
- Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed socket 230 V\~, 50 Hz.
Attachments
Attachment "A" is installed in the jug.

CAUTION:
Do not try to remove the attachment.
Use attachment “A” for warming up a variety of liquids. It is also the adaptor for attachment “B”.

Use attachment "B" for frothing milk. Place it on top of attachment "A". Observe the tabs for the noses. To remove the attachment, lift it up.
Button Functions
Warm stirring or frothing:

The milk is heated to approx. 65^ C. This is the ideal temperature for coffee taste.
The appliance needs approx. 2 minutes to cool down again. You can shorten this period by rinsing the jug with cold water.

Cold stirring or frothing:
You can select this function at any time.
Operation
Foaming milk

CAUTION:
Observe the capacity marking MAX, otherwise the milk will foam over.
i NOTE:
- For optimum results use milk with 3.5% fat content and fill in 175 ml.
-
Milk with 1.5% fat content and soy milk or lactose-free milk does not froth as well.
-
Attach attachment "B".
- Fill between 60 ml and 120 ml cold milk into the jug.
- Attach the lid to the appliance.
- Place the jug on the base.
- Press one of the two buttons.
i NOTE:
• The indicator lamp lights up.
- The button illumination shows the function.
- This process takes approx. 60 to 100 seconds and ends automatically. The indicator lamp flashes for approx. 20 seconds to indicate the end of the process.
i NOTE:
- Press the button again or remove the jug from the base to terminate the process earlier.
Warm Up Milk, Hot Chocolate or Sauces

CAUTION:
Observe the capacity marking MAX-
- Remove attachment "B".
- Fill between 60 ml and 250 ml cold milk into the jug.
- Continue as described under point 3 "Foaming milk".
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always pull the power supply plug before cleaning.
- Allow the appliance to cool down.
- Never immerse the base and the can in water for cleaning. It could result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive items.
- Never use sharp or scouring cleaning materials.
Base and can from outside
Clean the outside of the base and can with a dry cloth, without additives.
Jug Inside
Wipe the inside of the jug with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft cloth.
Frother (Attachment "B")
i NOTE:
To remove the attachment, lift it up.
- Clean the attachment immediately after use.
- Wash the attachment in warm sudsy water. Loosen stubborn residues with a cleaning brush. Rinse in clean water.
- You can also wash the attachment in the dishwasher. Ensure that the cleaning agents (cleaning and rinsing agents, salt) are not overdosed.
- Keep the attachment in a safe place. Otherwise it may get lost.
Storage
- Clean the device as described and allow to dry completely.
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if the appliance will be not used for long periods.
- Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.
