Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.
- Use the appliance only for the intended purpose.
- Keep the appliance away from heat, direct sunshine and sharp edges.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Store the appliance out of the reach of children. Children may not play with the appliance.
- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

WARNING:
Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil. There is a danger of suffocation!
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods.
Handling Batteries

Do not charge batteries!

Observe polarity (+ / -)!

Do not disassemble batteries!

Danger of explosion!
Do not expose batteries to intense heat, such as sunshine, fire or similar.

Do not short circuit!
- Batteries can leak battery acid. If the appliance will not be used for a longer period of time, remove the batteries.
- If a battery leaks, do not rub the liquid into the eyes or mucous membranes. In case of contact, wash hands, rinse eyes with clean water. Seek medical attention if any discomfort persists.
- Different battery types and new and used batteries must not be used together.
- Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Return used batteries to the responsible collection points or to the dealer.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness.

If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".
Inserting the Batteries
(Batteries not included)
Observe the symbols on the unit housing.
- Open the battery compartment by briefly turning the upper half of the housing.
- Insert 2 batteries of type AA / LR6. Please ensure that the polarity is correct (see battery compartment / outside of battery compartment)!
- Do not use rechargeable batteries / accumulators.
- Close the battery compartment again. The mark on the upper half of the housing must point to the symbol 🔒.

Operation
i NOTE:
- For best results, use milk with a 3.5% fat content. Milk with a fat content of 1.5% as well as soya milk or lactose-free milk will produce less froth.

Fill the container to just one fourth with milk, as the volume increases considerably during the frothing.

Fill the milk into a suitable container, for example a glass.
- Completely immerse the stirring rod with the spring into the milk.
- Press the button on the top of the appliance once to switch the appliance on.
- Move the stirring rod in the container up and down evenly, until the desired foam volume is created. The spring must always remain in the liquid with this.
- Press the button again to switch off the appliance.
- Wait for standstill of the spring, before removing the stirring rod from the foam.
- Use a spoon to remove the milk froth.
- Immediately clean the appliance after each use.
Cleaning

CAUTION:
- Do not immerse the appliance in water, this could destroy the electronics.
- Do not place the appliance upside down in moist or wet condition. The liquid could get into the inside of the appliance along the stirring rod.

Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
-
Pull off the stirring rod with the spring.
- Rinse the spring under running water.
- Clean the housing with a slightly damp, but not wet cloth.
- After cleaning, dry all parts well with a dry, soft cloth.
- Put the stirring rod with the spring back into the housing.
Storage
- You may set the appliance into the stand that is included in the scope of delivery.
• Always store the appliance outside of the reach of children.
