Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

Always switch off the appliance when it is not in use and unplug it. Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.

Always unplug the appliance before attaching or removing an attachment or before approaching a part that is mobile during use.

Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use, especially if you leave the appliance unsupervised or if you assemble or disassemble it or before cleaning it.

Only use this mixer for cooking purposes.

This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section « Important information » in the instruction manual.

It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.

The blade of this appliance is extremely sharp, always be very careful when handling the appliance.

Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of the recipient when the appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries.

You may use a scraper (to clean the blades) when the appliance is unplugged.

When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of hot liquid could cause serious burns. Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.# Copies of the I/B. The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.

Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.

Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician. IMPORTANT INFORMATION This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.

Your new stick mixer is a convenient and easy to use for powerful high speed blending. It is great for shakes, soups, sauces, omelettes and much, much more.

• Before using for the first time, the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged first!

• Screw the shaft onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the locked symbol

. Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the shaft is fully tightened on to the motor unit.

• Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing bowl, cooking pan or mixing beaker (if included). Do not overfill to avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.

• Plug in at the mains.

• Put the shaft of the appliance into the ingredients before pressing the on switch. This will avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.

• Switch on the appliance and blend but remember to use it for no longer than 1 minute of continuous use. The appliance must then have a break of 10 minutes.

HOW TO CLEAN THE DETACHABLE LEG

• Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

• The motor unit should only be wiped down with a moist cloth.

• Unscrew the shaft from the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the unlocked symbol

• Wash the shaft under running water immediately after use. If it is very dirty, it can be cleaned in warm washing-up water.

DO NOT put the metal detachable shaft in a dishwasher . The chemicals used in dishwashers and the salts will mark and stain the surface of the aluminium leg.

• For best results after cleaning and drying, lightly coat the metal surfaces with cooking oil. This will keep the finish bright and stain free.

• Dry the detachable shaft thoroughly after washing.

In such case, do not return the complete appliance but only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged. Pieces undergoing wear and tear (e.g.. Motor brushes, dough hooks, driving belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, lighting, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!

AFTER THE GUARANTEE PERIOD

Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified technician or a repair service.
