What is the maximum continuous operation time?

The maximum continuous operation time is 1 minute. After that, you must let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes.

How to clean the detachable shaft?

Wash the shaft under running water or in warm soapy water. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Dry it vigorously and, to maintain shine, apply a thin layer of olive oil.

Can I blend hot liquids?

Yes, but be careful to avoid splashes. Never blend boiling liquids as this could cause burns.

What to do if the appliance stops working?

First check the power outlet and cord. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service or your retailer. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Can the shaft be put in the dishwasher?

No. The chemicals and salts in the dishwasher will mark and stain the aluminum surface of the shaft.

How to correctly attach the shaft?

Screw the shaft onto the thread of the motor block in the direction indicated by the closed lock symbol I. Tighten slightly by hand until it is securely fixed.

What types of food can I blend?

This appliance is designed for domestic use: milkshakes, soups, eggs, etc. It is not intended for professional use or large quantities.

Does the warranty cover accessories?

In case of defect, accessories are exchanged free of charge, except glass parts (paid) and wear parts such as blades or seals. The warranty does not cover normal wear.

Can I use the appliance continuously for large quantities?

No. Continuous use must not exceed 1 minute. Respect the 10-minute pauses to avoid damaging the motor.

How to maintain the shine of the aluminum shaft?

After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer of olive oil to the metal surfaces. This keeps the coating shiny and stain-free.

q Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of the recipient when the appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries.
q You may use a scraper (to clean the blades) when the appliance is unplugged.
q When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of hot liquid could cause serious burns. Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.

The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
q Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.

Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.

HOW TO USE

Your new stick mixer is a convenient and easy to use for powerful high speed blending. It is great for shakes, soups, sauces, omelettes and much, much more.

Before using for the first time, the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged first!
- Screw the shaft onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the locked symbolii . Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the shaft is fully tightened on to the motor unit.
- Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing bowl, cooking pan or mixing beaker (if included). Do not overfill to avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
- Plug in at the mains.
- Put the shaft of the appliance into the ingredients before pressing the on switch. This will avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
- Switch on the appliance and blend but remember to use it for no longer than 1 minute of continuous use. The appliance must then have a break of 10 minutes.

HOW TO CLEAN THE DETACHABLE LEG

Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
The motor unit should only be wiped down with a moist cloth.
- Unscrew the shaft from the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the unlocked symbol.
- Wash the shaft under running water immediately after use. If it is very dirty, it can be cleaned in warm washing-up water.
DO NOT put the metal detachable shaft in a dishwasher. The chemicals used in dishwashers and the salts will mark and stain the surface of the aluminium leg.
- For best results after cleaning and drying, lightly coat the metal surfaces with cooking oil. This will keep the finish bright and stain free.
- Dry the detachable shaft thoroughly after washing.
-NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN ANY LIQUID.

No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if some attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held responsible in case of accidents.

In the event of claim, in the first instance, please contact your vendor and return him your complete appliance. In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.

Pieces undergoing wear and tear (e.g.. Motor brushes, dough hooks, driving belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, lighting, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!

Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified technician or a repair service.
